I regretfully update my darling Cruise passed away on 3/18/19 from stomach cancer. This photo is exactly how I will always remember him, the sweetest, kindest, most gentle dog I’ve ever known.
Hello! I'm super nervous to ask this off of anon so I'm so sorry! but- i've been researching your kennel and am in love with your program, your dogs, and just overall you as a breeder! You seem very down to earth and personable but also super passionate and I'm absolutely head over heels! I'm interested in getting a pup in the future, should I pass what is needed to be a borzoi home! But I'm unsure when is an appropriate time to contact you to ask the plethora of questions I have!!
I’ve been bad about updating this site but please contact me via my website at www.sataraborzoi.com and ask away! Thank you for your kind words
I only ever had cats but in the future I would really like a big piece of land where I could get a dog and borzois have always intrigued me. I have always been really intimidated by dogs even small dogs it’s like I don’t understand what they want or how to touch them. I’ve heard borzois are similar to cats. Do you think this is true especially from the perspective of a cat only person?
I would spend some time around borzoi if you can, they are more the size of a leopard than a house cat. I love cats, I really do, but the level of bonding that I have with my borzoi isn’t really something I could replicate with a cat (okay, maybe my Willow but she is exceptional). Borzoi are their own entity. They are less demanding than your stereotypical dog, but they definitely need more interaction than a cat.
