You know plant hobbies are normal when a monstera taking up the seat next to you isnt looked at twice, 

This plant and I had quite the adventure of going to my friend’s place. We discovered that Google maps is adamant on pushing for the use of uber and lyft to the point that all the options I was getting involved one or the other. 

But she made it to her new home :)

😭 A Devastating Update: My sweet baby, Fight Shrub 🤕, has taken a dramatic turn. This is 100% my bad. 🥺 I know exactly how I went wrong. I didn't mean to, but good intentions won't bring her leaves back. 👻 She is not dead to rights, but she has lost 75% of her leaves.

My orchid isn't thrilled.

To be fair I got her for five dollars so I knew her roots probably were not great. But since she was in full bloom, I didn't want to ruin the gorgeous flowers.

A few days ago I came home to all the flowers having dropped into a neat little pile at the base of the plant so I took a moment to repot her into orchid mix and cut away the old roots. Not much was left in terms of her roots but now she has time to recover 😁
