As the stakeout began to find the kidnapper, things were silent for a few days. This continued up until the last day of the week, as the robed figure made their routine movements toward the homeless. It was the same routine as before, as material items of value from those gone missing were offered to the homeless. Some would be given conversation or a means of just friendly chit chat.

This figure would mostly stay with the homeless, only straying away after an hour of conversation. The figure would move toward the closest alley, a clear sign of how they were able to not been seen so easily in the night. 

If anyone were to follow the movement, it would appear as if the figure is moving toward the cemetery.

She knew to be patient.  Things like this took time.  It was purposeful, but the thought of who’s next and when were persistently prodding the general’s mind.  Beatrix just needed to trust her spy could discover any and all information possible.

The paper lay on her desk of suspicious behavior, or rather what could be considered attention worthy.  Nothing seemed to correlate between previous messages, but there had to be something there.

Studying the pages again, Beatrix picked through events irrelevant.  A young teenager disappearing through open window-- likely seeking cheap thrills.  Beggars tailing nobles within the city-- the targets were mostly homeless themselves.

But then there was mention of someone providing items to strangers.  Nothing extravagant.  It was likely nothing.  Though something was kept the rose’s attention.  The stranger remained unknown, and many homeless had some contact, but could never say certain where he went afterwards.

Beatrix retrieved a quill to write instructions for her spy.  Follow this individual.  Take into custody for questioning.  There were hundreds of citizens within Alexandria, but by speaking with the homeless each night, this one had information worth knowing.
