Tagged by @murderlight and @princelink! Thank you! Not sure how many bingos one person should be allowed to have but here we are. 🙃 Tiny tidbits:

1.) I can and will argue how fanfiction, explicitly in the last 5-7 years, has become a literary genre with elements that identify it as such.

2.) I've bopped around in different fandoms since Quizilla (don't fucking clock me like that)

3.) I am, at this point, canonically known for writing drunk at frequent intervals, sometimes even streaming it to the Grimmichi server 🥴

4.) I plan nothing. Don't ask me what's going to happen in a story. I don't know either.

5.) I do, however, ADORE doing research, even if it's for a single, throwaway line. I don't edit either, we slam that shit in and hit post and run like cowards in this house.

6.) I'd like to be fucking buried with all the glorious, fantastic, insanely beautiful art so many people have made for my fics. I literally want to take it to the grave, I'm so honored by it every time, it NEVER gets old and I never stop feeling like a giddy child. 🖤

For the writer ask game, I was curious about 19 👀

19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going? I've been writing for a long time, I think. At least since I was a kid. I've got decrepit spiral school notebooks in a box in the closet of my home office that my dad kept of little stories I would write. Predictably, they're awful. But the sentiment is there 😅 I'm very of the school of thought that everybody has some kind of outlet, sports, art, hobbies, even vices count. I guess I figured out early enough that mine was writing. I've always wanted to take the world around me and the worlds inside me and put them somewhere and stories always came out the easiest. Lulls in muse more than bumps, I think. I'm very much, and very unfortunately, a slave to my own moods when it comes to writing. Thus all the many projects I hop between. But it's still the space I am most myself in. I've written for me mostly, but also for friends, professionally in literary magazines, anthologies and the like, for fanfiction, etc. The goal someday I suppose is to have enough focus to finish one of my novels and punt it out into the world LMAO.

1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting?

2. If you had to give up your keyboard and write your stories exclusively by hand, could you do it? If you already write everything by hand, a) are you a wizard and b) pen or pencil?

3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?

4. What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral?

5. Do you have any writing superstitions? What are they and why are they 100% true?

6. What is your darkest fear about writing?

7. What is your deepest joy about writing?

8. If you had to write an entire story without either action or dialogue, which would you choose and how would it go?

9. Do you believe in ghosts? This isn’t about writing I just wanna know

10. Has a piece of writing ever “haunted” you? Has your own writing haunted you? What does that mean to you?

11. Do you believe in the old advice to “kill your darlings?” Are you a ruthless darling assassin? What happens to the darlings you murder? Do you have a darling graveyard? Do you grieve?
