itâs the way all you larries camoflauge as regular people when youâre actually a fucking cult lmao đ
no see this is fascinating!! because i have an experiment for you. go and reach out to a real-life cult survivor and if theyâre comfortable, let them open up to you about their experiences and traumas being in a cult. then, when they ask why youâre curious about it, explain to them that youâre comparing a sector of an online boyband fandom to a cult and watch them realize their very real damage, scars, and haunts are seemingly equivalent to an online music fanbase and itâs politics.
do you understand how insensitive and absolutely dense you sound trying to compare the two? do you understand that using the word âcultâ to describe parts of a fandom dismisses the very real traumas and experiences cult survivors have gone through? do you understand that amplifying âcultâ as a buzz word to describe anything you donât agree with or features a âconspiracy theoryâ is incredibly harmful and disrespectful to those who have been part of a cult? and finally do you understand that you canât be more than 12 years old and most definitely still have your crust cut off your sandwiches to send an anon like this on a saturday night? sad đ¤§
now that amy has deleted all her posts are there anymore blogs that have been here since like 2013 that i can search tags on
Hi love. Sigh. This is the kind of question that makes me sad because it just reminds me how many wonderful people are gone. You can still search tellmethisisnotlove as itâs been archived on the wayback machine. Most of the links are still working. Some of her masterposts have been rebuilt here on Tumblr. @lornasaurusrex isnât really active these days, but her blog has great content. @bulletprooflarry is a treasure trove for the early days (especially 2010-12). @betterstllbemywindingwheel has been here forever, although sheâs not much of a tagger. @tommosgun as well. @cuethetommo has only been here since 2015, but sheâs really organized with her tags. I believe @skepticalarrie and @daisiesonafield-blog are both somewhat more recent, but they have really organized tagging systems.
I honestly canât remember who else might be a good person to check with, but maybe if youâve been here since 2013 (or earlier) and tag your posts, can you add your name or raise your hands in the tags/comments??

Hello Maree, hope you're doing better. I cant remember if this is something that has already been pointed out before but is dr Payne a lover of green spaces, you mentioned he was a former science teacher and he elaborated about wisteria in the recent chapters but I've noticed that every time his mind is heavy with something he is always focusing on green spaces nearby so I was wondering if he has a garden or something or him doing that is just meant to be just a detail. Thank you
âI've noticed that every time his mind is heavy with something he is always focusing on green spaces nearby....â
Good catch!!! Yes, this is intentional. Some of my favourite examplesâŚ
Dr. Payne didnât speak for a long while, just peered out onto the well-manicured front garden, his countenance reflected in the windowpaneâfirst contemplative, then brooding, then contemplative again. (ch. 13)
Zayn had the urge to follow him, to inquire about things that were surely none of his business. But he didnât.  He just leaned back against the desk and watched as the principal cracked the blinds ever-so-slightly to gaze out upon the sunlit garden, upon the ancient elms lining the path towards the sports grounds on the other side of the building.  Zayn had seen something fleeting in the principalâs eyes, had felt the heaviness in the manâs soul. (ch. 39)
Once Horan had gone, Liam locked the door and dropped back into his chair.  He had a handful of minutes before he had to be in the gym, but he needed a minute to decompress and reflectâŚ. Suddenly, he felt restless. In one swift movement, he was up and out of his chair, heading towards the window.  He gazed out upon the garden, and it helped.  It distracted him from what he really wanted to do: text Zayn, e-mail Zayn, corner Zayn, touch Zayn, fuck Zayn. (ch. 41)
We donât know if he has a proper garden/green space at home, BUT the principal does seem to obsess over his office plants, lol (devilâs ivy, ch. 10; bamboo, ch. 23 & 27).
**Bonus: Dr. Payneâs favourite haunt outside of school is Club Jardin.
