The problem is conservative Christianity

At last, with a calm head and a more controlled fire in my heart. I can see my monster clearly; in any rants on my blogs or social accounts. There was a vehement hatred toward all concepts and practices of Christianity; this was, of course, trauma-related, and I knew if I wanted to be heard, I would have to calm down and narrow it down to what version of Christianity gave me the worse issues. Because it was no mere "1 denomination"; it was many denominations where I had experienced a specific personality. And for much of my life, I was taught it was "only one specific denomination where we offload the corruption or none." Then, of course, that changed into using Muslims as a scapegoat for the corruption of the word of god. And we were NOT allowed to question the church without a harsh shush or an exclamation that if you question god, then you will essentially be guided by the devil to hell. That is the crux of their beliefs, or that is the beliefs of conservative Christianity. Now I am still new. I just now had this epiphany that the crux of my trauma was with conservative Christianity. A blanket term covering all denominations, including catholicism, is one of the oldest and earliest forms of Christianity. Thus, it has an air of polytheism in the hopes of converting pagans. And multiple denominations have existed since the dawn of Christianity.* So when I say all denominations and conservative Christianity, I 100000% mean it. I think many of us who have experienced the various levels of trauma from conservative Christianity. Will agree it's not just 1 denomination. The corruption spans all of them. So there's an issue; I can now see the central core of my trauma. Can anyone help a girl out in finding reliable resources? And is it a good idea to give your therapist access to your social blogs if you tend to vent about it? I am, of course, 100% serious that there are thousands of potential resources. But not all of them are reliable, so any help to sift through the unreliable sources would be appreciated! THANKS!

Everything i am is a sin

Scarlett stepped between her father and the throne, causing the room to fill with nervous whispering as the courtiers murmured amongst themselves. "Enough," she whispered, a sword appearing in her hands. She felt a strong desire to break down and start crying but knew that would do nothing but give him a reason to mock her. So she stood there holding the black, glittering sword in her hands as Ores stopped and stared at her, his face impassive. "It is a sin to stand against your father, girl," he said softly; tension began to fill the room as the courtiers pressed themselves against the wall. Some ran out of the room through servant's passages or the main entrance. Others stayed and watched, not daring to breathe. And that was how it began; Scarlett saw Jude walking over to the dead woman's body behind Ores, picking up the oak staff with the iron raven topping it. "It is a sin," Scarlett began, her heart thundering in her chest, "for me to wear pants." She let out a low soft chuckle at the thought, her mind quickly comparing her life before she had to come to this god-forsaken place. "It is a sin to be any color other than sunburnt white." "is that what they told you?" Ores said, giving her a pitiful look, "You've seen for yourself that we allow all races to climb our ranks, dear"! He gestured to the crowd of onlookers who were all dressed the same. But she wouldn't back down "so long as they conform to your ideals and no one else's. So long as they behave and are not out of line with the bullshit laws that you created because you could not handle the fact that people are different and unique and flawed." She pointed the sword at him, raising it to the height of her chest growling, "You tortured and raped and killed everyone that didn't conform to your senseless rules because you were too much of a coward to acknowledge anything different. You were willing to burn down the world because the Elder Gods denied you what arrogance and vanity entitled you to." Jude nodded to someone behind her, and Scarlett heard the rustle of cloth as her mother moved to stand behind the throne. Scarlett widened her stance, preparing herself for the hell that was about to be unleashed. "Everything I am is a sin in your eyes," she whispered, tears filling her eyes. "And I choose to be ok with that because if somehow I go to hell? I'm taking you with me"

Workers and activists in more than 20 countries are expected to protest as part of a campaign led by “Make Amazon Pay,” a coalition of 70 trade unions and organizations including Greenpeace, Oxfam, and Amazon Workers International.

Individuals everywhere “from oil refineries, to factories, to warehouses, to data centers, to corporate offices” are expected to participate in the November 26 event, according to the campaign.  

“The pandemic has exposed how Amazon places profits ahead of workers, society, and our planet,” Make Amazon Pay wrote in a list of demands shared on its website. “Amazon takes too much and gives back too little. It is time to Make Amazon Pay.”

The protests come amid growing dissent from Amazon employees over working conditions, including long hours, low pay, and complex performance review systems. Make Amazon Pay’s demands include increased salaries, better job security, and “suspending the harsh productivity and surveillance regime Amazon has used to squeeze workers.”

The coalition also calls for a “pay back to society” that includes enhanced sustainability efforts, increased transparency over data and privacy, and ending partnerships with police forces and immigration authorities that are “institutionally racist.”

“Amazon is not alone in these bad practices but it sits at the heart of a failed system that drives the inequality, climate breakdown, and democratic decay that scar our age,” Make Amazon Pay wrote in its demands.

In a statement, Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel told Insider that the company is “inventing and investing significantly” in several of the categories the campaign addresses, including climate efforts, like a commitment to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 and pushes to improve competitive wages and benefits.

“These groups represent a variety of interests, and while we are not perfect in any area, if you objectively look at what Amazon is doing in each one of these areas you’ll see that we do take our role and our impact very seriously,” Nantel said.

The Morrigan of Terrath

The Morrigan of Terrath is a legendary (name pending); she is, of course, loosely based on the Morrigan of our world. I say "loosely" because the Morrigan we know is a vague outline of the Irish/Celtic mythology that survived past the initial rise of Catholicism. What we do know about the Morrigan is collected knowledge of what survived. A lot of what survived was passed chiefly from word of mouth, this being especially important because after Christianity gained ground, many pagans were looked down upon. And in some eras, they were persecuted and killed. But all that's for a different discussion. We know very little about the Morrigan or the Morrigna compared to other mythologies. There are speculations about her being one or three goddesses; one person I know believes that the Morrigan is more of a title given to fierce goddesses. But if you were to see her as one, then there are at least three noticeable aspects. war, prophecy, and death The Morrigan is heavily associated with war, and if she favors you or your side. Then you are likely to win the war. She challenges Cu Chulainn, a legend I will not get into for now. One of her most interesting aspects is her association with fate and prophecy. It is the Morrigan who appears to the soldier and washes his bloody armor. It is the Morrigan who is said to foretell doom and the fall of kingdoms. Then you have the association with death, albeit a minor one. She is married to the Dagda, the chief of all the Tuath de Danan. But her association with war and the crow tie her in with death itself. Now to the Morrigan of Terrath

The Morrigan of Terrath is the first of the "human" based pantheon in Terrath (there's a pantheon of nature deities, and they are NOT human ), the reason why I opted to do a "human" based pantheon (I haven't decided if I'm gonna do a multi-species with intellectual creatures I could and I'm considering it but I haven't decided) She is also the first Legendary (again, name pending) of Terrath. A legendary is one who the elder gods (nature) have deemed worthy of leading their kind forward. Each legendary aligns themselves with one of the 6th elders; She chose Visalth, the elder of the west and god of life and creation. While it was Visalths parents who created him, he in turn created man, and beast, and tree. She stood as his eternal guardian, the goddess of a merciful death, of war and strategy, and of wisdom. She became the goddess of death because she understood the importance of the life and death cycle. Her grief for her lost family and her mistakes that have led good men and women to death taught her as much about the value of death as it did the beauty of life. In this wisdom, she asked that she be reborn when old kingdoms fall and new kingdoms rise. She also asks that she choose herself who is to be her host, to train them to bring forth the new era and take wisdom from the mistakes of the old. When the Morrigan is ready to help prepare the loom of fate, she is known as the wise woman. She takes on the appearance of a humbled old hag. And searches for the warrior whose new ideas and new ways of thinking will bring on the next era. When wise woman and warrior exist separately, they are known as the Morrigna. The warrior can be chosen from any culture or race. In her warrior form, she is known as the goddess of war. >.> She helps establish new kings and kingdoms, advises the courts on when diplomacy or war is necessary. As wars fade, she becomes the goddess of wisdom, maintaining peace for as long as she can. This can be for a generation, or it can be for many. There is legend of one who had been captured and held for 1000 years. But when the kings no longer listen, when they become spoiled and tyrannical, is when she goes to become a wise woman. And yes, I know what your thinking "wait, she's the wise woman during the times of peace, but her final stage is the wise woman?" yea that's exactly it, actually When she becomes the wise woman (or rather when she becomes the hag), she helps prepare the loom of fate by stringing the warp to the frame. Or, that is to say, she finds those necessary to bring on that new era. In this lies her power as she transitions from the wise woman back to the warrior. I live next to a super volcano (Yellowstone) and I love her I really do she gives me lovely stones (note I live outside the park gates on private property don’t take things out of the national parks I will FIGHT YOU) I found a purely clear quartz right next to my porch steps and a fools gold ore stone (pyrite) between mine and my neighbors cabin! In return I pick up trash along the highway while I’m walking. Living near her gives me energy and life my soul sings with her heart she is my home and I am her child along with the wildlife that lives amongst her mountains and plains.

Planet earth is terrifying I hope I never see a volcano

hey, you should be glad these things are around, they’re a sign that Earth isn’t going to let cosmic radiation cook you alive anytime soon!

volcanoes erupt when plumes of liquid magma rise up through the more sluggish magma closer to Earth’s crust and melt their way up to the surface, like how the cheese bubbles up through your pot of unattended macaroni! (except WAY less delicious)

and this magma rises in the first place because it’s been superheated by Earth’s core, which is a constantly-rotating semifluid ball of supercompressed hellfire iron hotter than the surface of the sun!

the unimaginable pressure down there combined with the physical rotation turns Earth’s heart into a primitive dynamo engine that generates a powerful magnetic field, which acts like an enormous forcefield and prevents most of the cosmic radiation Earth encounters from ever reaching the surface!

which is good, because it would immediately blast the surface of the Earth clean of life if it ever did make landfall. 

so if you ever do encounter an erupting volcano, remember that all things are connected, and stop to give Mama Earth a pat of thanks for protecting you from the cosmic forces of the universe which would very much like to make you extremely dead!

and then run like hell.
