Different perspectives

The overhead ‘birds eye’ view isn’t one that you see too often in Lego photography. It was that angle that made this image standout to me. It’s a simple composition in a way, minifigures crossing the road at a junction. Taken at another angle it probably wouldn’t have stood out so much. But from above, you have a lovely interaction with the road markings that act as leading lines in the image, guiding your eyes across the road with the minifigures. The slight angle in the final image adds even more weight to those leading lines. I really like the black and white too, the lack of colour makes those lines stand out even more in way that if shot in colour they probably wouldn’t have.
