Spare a moment to help?
Hello! I know I don't post much here, but I'm looking for your help.
I'm non-binary, and I'm saving for a mastectomy, which I'll have to do abroag because my country doesn't let people like me have one. Either fully transition, or you don't exist, apparently.
So, I'll have to pay for it with my own money, plus all the exams and travel to another country, where burocracy isn't this tight.
Please, spare a Ko-Fi for me, and you'll have my sincerest, eternal gratitude.
And if you spare at least three coffees you'll get a sketch from me, whoever you want (even NSFW if you so wish)
If you want, you can check my Twitter art account, or even my NSFW Twitter art account (beware, this is 18+).
And even if you can't donate or commission me, please spare a reblog as signal boost.
Happy pride month, everyone!

I watched Kizuna and oh boy, it is bad.
I watched Last Evolution Kizuna today. It's a good movie, if you ignored the ending, which is absolute SHIT, with a horrible message and the umptenth retcon of the ending of Adventure 02.
Adventure 02 ends with hope. A character literally DIES but it ends with hope. Kizuna ends with nothing, with despair. Because once you're an adult, you can't have fun, you can't have dreams, it all must be left behind one's back.
Which is also wrong, because in Adventure it's clearly stated that the reason the kids have a Digimon it's because thei dreams, not for their potential (??), and the evolutions in 01 are due to their innate qualities (Courage, Friendship, and such).
In Adventure 02 there's an ADULT who gets his Digimon, Oikawa gets his Digimon before sacrificing himself to restore Digiworld, so the fact that adults can't have DIgimon is BULLSHIT, and I'm not even mentioning the actual FINALE of Adventure 02 where EVERYONE has a Digimon.
The fix wasn't even hard, just make Menoa's Digimon disappear for another reason that she MISINTERPRETS as her being too old, and make the countdown something else entirely, but that she assumes it means the end of the partnership, so when the Digidestined's one reaches the end,
nothing happens. Also, it makes no sense to be "possibilities", or the lack of them, to determine if the Digimon can stay. Taichi and Yamato were the ones who still hadn't decided what they wanted to do in their lifes, while Joe and Koushiro already have their path laid in front of them, but they didn't get a countdown. It makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER that Sora got it before them, that Taichi and Yamato got it before everyone else. Daisuke himself was in NY to check food restaurants, he already knows he wants to be a cook.
It really makes no sense, because it's the dreams kids have that gives you a Digimon but the fullfillment of said dreams take the Digimon away? What are them, Fairly Oddparents? Which at least have a reason to go away when a kids grows up, Digimon don't.
Also, EVEN if "possibilities" was the reason behind the presence of Digimon, why becoming adult and independent should take it away? It's a very japanese way of thinking, but it's still shitty and makes no sense. Now you're an adult, you're independent, you can do EVERYTHING.
It should add MORE possibilities, not take them away. All in all, the movie is kinda good, graphically and regarding the references to other DIgimon media, but the ending and the message were absolutely horrible, and if that's what happens growing up, then Menoa was right.

They DO get their Digimon back as far as I know, there's one OAV that it's set after the last battle (since Beelzemon works with them)

On Digimon Adventure 2020
Today I watched episode 11.
It started good, this series. But then we got that absurd Omegamon sneak peek.
I know it was a not to Our War Game, which is still my favourite DIgimon movie, but I felt it was completely unnecessary.
Now, we bare had a glimpse of the evil Digimon (that Devimon silhouette was unmistakenable), but I’m afraid he’ll be the one evolving to Vamdemon/Myotismon, skipping Etemon completely.
It feels a lot like they’re rushing everyone’s growth, while slowing down with the overall plot.
I remember the biuld up to the first Ultimate digivolution, which happens in episode 20. It takes twice as much in Adventure to get to Metalgreymon.
Next one, on episode 23. Here, in the very next episode, and we already know Togemon will evolve too next week.
This means by episode 15 we already have most of Ultimates? Or more correctly, every Ultimate, since the two kids barely showed up?
I know we’ll get everyone’s Mega here, so maybe they want to build THEM up instead of the Ultimates, but it still feels really rushed up. There’s no real reason they should’ve digivolved to Ultimate if not for a convenient powerup. It doesn’t feel like there’s a deep reason tied to their crests and, ultimately, to their own qualities.
Yamato’s motivation behind Weregarurumon’s evolution felt really weak.
Taichi’s wasn’t anything special as well.
I mean, in the original his crest shines because, even with the newly added fear of death due to Koushiro’s words, he still finds the courage to go and save Sora. Here he just... fights? A fight that would’ve been completely hopeless if not for the very convenient Metalgreymon showing up.
In the end, I’m not really satisfied. On the contrary, I’m quite disappointed.
They only way they have to redeem themselves is to give me (Adventure) WIzardmon had letting him live.
But I’m skeptical we’ll even see him, let alone live.
Leomon has been mentioned only because he can die later on. And yet, we have no emotional attachment to him.
If it wasn’t for the fact that I, as a long time fan, already am attached to the characters, I’m not sure a new fan, who has never watched Adventure and this is their first approach, would get attached to the characters. I mean, I like their personalities but nearly nobody really stands up? Joe has his gimmik of being insecure and a perfect student, but aside from that, the only one who stands up a bit is Yamato, but only because he has his tsundere act to bring on.
I would’ve been a way better series if they just created new characters. New kids to root for, a chance for other less popular Digimon to shine!
I mean, I would’ve liked someone like the Bearmon we see in ep 11 as a “starter” Digimon! Or maybe a Keramon?? I would’ve been innovative!
Or a Kudamon? Lopmon? Tapirmon? Candlemon? Fanbeemon? Elecmon?
There’s plenty of possible starters for a new group! New toys to sell!
But instead, we get this sort of reboot with a vaguely inspired plot which seems to want to rush 54 episodes into 20 somehow, forgetting that some things, like evolutions, require time.
