Today I told myself I would (try to) do two pages of reading exercises and one page of vocabulary exercises, and now I'm telling you too, in order to keep my promise.
So, I've come to the decision that, for motivation purposes, I will record my journey to taking the N2 exam in December. I'm not even slightly motivated to study, and that's exactly why I decided to sign up for the exams, because I think that getting myself in a situation where I actually have to start studying will motivate me enough to keep going.
If anyone wants to share their journey with me, feel free to do so!
Also, I'm still looking for someone who's around N3 or N2 to talk to in Japanese, mostly through texting or writing to each other, in order to start thinking in Japanese more often.
Send me a message if you would like to practice with me!
Here's a picture I took just two days ago with some of the kanji I'm trying to learn at the moment (and ofc it's not working).
so I realized that there's a bot for Japanese on Discord and it's so nice because it has all this random info and random kanji and words and there are also small tests according to your level (n5-n1) and it's so much fun to kickstart your studying sessions with one of those tests???? It's called Kotoba in case anyone wants to add it to their server btw.
I haven't posted in what seems like forever, but I really want to revive this blog this year. Well, this year's plans include my dissertation, my Japanese lessons, and more importantly my efforts to do an internship!
Actually, I have sent out my cv to a few places that I like. I have to do interviews for some of them and translation samples for others, and right now I have to prepare some translation samples for a company and I'm so excited but at the same time I fear for my life.
Send positive vibes (and your cats, dogs, fluffy pets) please!
I said I'd post more often, but here I am, almost two months later. During the summer I'll be catching up on my Japanese homework, mostly revising kanji and vocabulary. Wish me luck!
Studying with Chopin in the background. My exams are only a few days away, so I'll be studying a lot and hopefully, I'll be posting more of my notes. How are you guys doing?
