this is a really weird ask so I'm sorry if its confusing. how's it like in an art school? I've wanted to go to one myself for the longest time after seeing arts from people like you and many others, but I get really worried at some horror stories I hear on the internet.

personally, How do you choose yours? where can I find the right one for myself? And can art schools make me a better artist, or is it better to just not go into one?

After considering multiple high profile art schools, I just went with my local city colleges and split my degrees between 2 of them. Saving money was my choice.

I did not like school.

It depends on your desired major but I wasn't looking to specialize and that may have affected my experience. It felt tedious just doing figure studies and then you're forced to take other classes you don't have interest in like 3d or printmaking (fine art major).

I did not need school and in the end I am doing my own thing that does not need a degree.

if you want to work with a team or company, I do believe school is more favorable.
