Colorbook.io is still down for me so unfortunately the CMYK values of future palettes are going to be rounded up to the nearest non decimal value (example 5% instead of 4.55%) which means there will be more inaccuracies in regards to the swatch values. There is nothing I can really do about this as I don’t have access to any other programs that would provide that degree of accuracy. I know this affects a very small portion of you guys I just want to be very upfront about the changes happening in the future. Any palettes that have the old format of percentages will not be changed but going forward this is the format that will be used, unless I regain access to the colorbook website.

#it’s rather frustrating for me because I feel like I should be more accurate with these values #despite multiple of my color design reference books using the same format #I mean it might be possible to manually calculate it but I already struggle with basic math facts #it just doesn’t seem to be worth the time to do that with the amount of sales I get

Hey guys just a small warning the site I use to convert color values of my swatches to proper CMYK values (since procreate has not fixed the inaccurate cymk values issue yet as far as I’m aware) has been inaccessible for a bit so I am changing the format slightly hopefully this website won’t disappear too 🫠

Continuing on that note making older palettes available on ko-fi and updating them to include RGB and CMYK values is going to take a little longer so you might not get an updated version of Spring Dawn for a bit longer. Normally I can do two palettes at once but this problem has messed up my workflow and my neurodivergent brain is not happy with the changes making it difficult for me to work on stuff. Hopefully colorbook will be back soon but I’m not holding my breath….

Thank you all for your responses!!! I will be taking a few small liberties with inspiration (such as the inclusion of inspiration from the 2001 Barbie film and the 2018 Disney film since these are my favorite nutcracker related movies) and with naming the palette. And since winter dreams came in a VERY close second I will be using that theme for January!! Thankfully I am getting considerably more time off for winter break at my new job so I will have a lot more time to do art stuff this year, I can’t wait!! I hope everyone else is having a wonderful holiday month whatever you celebrate this time of year!!!
