statistically your dad's age. in the SCA. queer enby white usamerican antifascist writer, artist, & musician. prolific sideblogs. pronouns: they/mightbegiants. gnu terry pratchett.
people telling you they reread your fic is the biggest compliment you could ever receive. there are thousands of stories out there begging to be found, to be explored, but your story meant so much to someone that they came back to it eagerly, they went over every word again. to love is to return and loving a fic is rereading it. thank you to all readers and rereaders <3333

A recurring theme in the magazine: women, bored with the milquetoast men around them, run off with satyrs, mer-men, centaurs, and other fantasy figures to finally have some fun.
It means a lot to me that when people send heart emojis, they have a specific color/style they use. And heart they choose to use seems to really reflect that persons personality and how they love.
Actually, do me a favor. Reblog this with the hearts you typically use.
so to be clear: 100% of the credit for jaskier finally being canonically queer and having a full romance story thats treated well in season 3 goes to joey batey
I just....I just learned that there's a word in the English language...for when you run into someone to hug them with all the enthusiasm and strength you have....I learned that it's called glomp.
My God, English has so many words to describe physical intimacy, I'm in love
Yeah quiet quitting is great and all but have you tried chaotic working?
Like. I remember back in my grocery store cashier days I did so much crazy shit.
When WIC (Women, infants, and children voucher program to help low income mothers/families with children) people were in my line I would pretty much know who they were. Before the cards they had to tell us upfront they were WIC and show us their vouchers for what they were allowed to get (it was awful some times. Like. 2 gallons of milk. $4 worth of vegetables etc etc). They’d always have items hanging back, waiting to see what the total was and if they would have to take it off the belt.
I began to place the fruits/vegetables a certain way on the register scale so that like 1/2lbs of grapes read as like .28lbs or something. Then act shocked when I said that they still had X amount of lbs left. They got all their fruit and vegetables.
I think it started to kinda? Catch on to the women? Because I would have the same moms in my line month after month. And even after they switched to the cards (they worked like food stamp cards?) I’d still do the same thing. They were able to get more produce for whatever shitty max amount Indiana gave them.
Loved going about my day and i see an ao3 anti on my tumblr dash and my brain short circuited for a moment of: where what how is this on my dash I didnt even know this blog I followed was anti ao3 so instant block cuz I just dont need that on my dash but since it came out of nowhere I thought I’d look at it and dismiss it if its nothing
Thing is they mentioned racist policies and this group of people who are apparently trying to dismantle ao3s internal racism?? End OTW racism or something?
Would you happen to know if thats a legitimate concern or was that just folks clutching their pearls over misunderstanding the entire premise of ao3? Fanlore makes it sound legit but I dont know if thats a source to trust on the other hand if its legit then I might be living under a rock
I think I should clarify that I am just wondering cuz the blog it came from was a blog I respected so I wanted to learn incase the concern was real and not just something reblogged because everyones saying so

We discussed it extensively while the campaign was running.
OTW does have some issues, but I can tell you that my nonwhite friends thought EOTWR was a farce and that anyone reblogging it or using one of the icons should be blocked on sight.
I was about to be irritated at a shitty "kids' education" website on 1770s clothing but then I learned that there's a staymaker buried at King's Chapel and now I'm just delighted to know the gravesite of a clothing worker from that era and I want to take him flowers
