Pet Spotlights! 🐾 🌟

We hope that you had an excellent weekend and kicking the week of on the right foot! We wanted to start off by saying thank you, again, to all that submitted artwork for the Prulen art contest! If you missed out on the opportunity to submit your artwork, no worries, cause' guess what???? It's a new PET SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK!! This week we are diving further into the pet:

With wingspan that can be upwards of 6 feet, the Requien may look delicate and beautiful, but they are able to fly so fast that they seem to teleport from one place to another.

As naturally helpful creatures, they fly swiftly to the aid of others. Requien tears even have a unique healing ability, but this property only works when they are fully grown.

Many have used the Requien to alert for predators, due to the pet’s unique super-sonic hearing. Most of the time, you can find the Requien sunbathing in the river, or taking a nap high up in the trees.

They make great pets, as they can be very loyal, and their speed make them an excellent companion for pet requests!

Prulen then vs now

We wanted to share some more Prulen related images with you! We want to show off how the Prulen looked back in the day since we've completely changed up the style of the pet over time to make it fit the current style of the site! What do y'all think about it?

One of our favorite things about the prulen is its sense of wonder and curiousity. Prulens are very curious about their surroundings! So curious, in fact, that they can easily be distracted.

One minute they could be occupied with discovering a delicious meal, high in a tree, and the next moment they could be making friends with others in the area!

Another cool thing to note is that Prulens also have an incredible sense of smell that help them sniff out a gourmet meal over 50 meters away! Prulens are a great addition to anyone's pet collection, since they get along with all pets!

Pet Spotlights! 🐾✨

We are introducing a new exciting community feature: Pet Spotlights! Each week, we will show off one of our pet species with cool new images, fanart, and lore for each pet. In addition, each week will end with exciting new lore behind Aegis -- and most excitingly, a fanart contest!! (See more about the fanart contests here!)

So, without further ado, let's jump into our first pet spolight of the week!

About the Prulen:

Its thick fur coat protects Prulen from the chilly nights in Aegis. Rumor is, they are originally from much colder climates, elsewhere on Casius. They are expert tree climbers and can smell food hundreds of meters away! Its favorite activities include playing Otchiball with its best friends and cuddling up with its owner. Prulens are very friendly but do not like to share things, and they can get very fussy if another pet tries to intrude on its delicious meal. Although, it has been known that, with training, these majestic pets can share its food with its owner’s favorite pets!

Weekly Fanart Contest! ✏️🥇

Sensipets will have a weekly fanart contest for the Spotlight Pet of the week!

What does this mean?

We will be accepting fanart of spotlighted pets throughout the week, and at the end of each week (Saturday by 8pm EST), a winner will be randomly picked! It will be completly random, so everyone who submits fanart will have an equal chance of winning! The winner will be announced each Sunday.

What will you win if you get picked?

Winners will receive a whopping 1,000 tickets to the ticket counter!!

Have ideas for an amazing prize for our fan art contest? Drop a comment on the forums and let us know!

How do you submit your artwork?

You can submit your art in two ways:

Post your art on social media using Sensipets tags! The best ones for this will be the name of the featured pet and #Sensipets.

Upload it to the Contests Forum on Sensipets! If you have difficulty uploading it, you can contact us via the Sensipets discord or send us an email at [email protected]

Don't be afraid to get creative with your fanart! We'd love to see everyone's unique versions of our pets!

Tomie is a researcher specializing in the origin of pets on Casius. She loves studying, teaching, and the occasional cheesy romance novel. She will be a key part of helping you find your perfect pet!

Assisting her is Cy. They will be there to help answer any questions you might have, and will be your guide through starting your journey in Sensipets. Careful though, they're known around town to play a few pranks and practical jokes!
