Israel was set to take its first steps towards a ground offensive on the Gaza city of Rafah but delayed that campaign after Iran’s weekend attack on their country, which has sparked a heated debate in the war cabinet over how to respond, Israeli sources have told CNN. The Israeli Air Force was set to begin dropping leaflets on parts of Rafah on Monday, two Israeli sources said, amid preparations for a ground offensive into Gaza’s southernmost city where more than 1 million people are sheltering. Those plans were paused after a retaliatory weekend attack from Iran, which saw more than 300 projectiles fired towards Israel, the vast majority of which were intercepted by Israel and its partners.

Love how this suddenly became *my* fault and *Palestinians* became the obstacle to peace. As if your Israel didn't expel my family multiple times, made them refugees, destroyed their crops and seized their land, put some of them in literal concentration camps during the Nakba and continues to terrorise and kill them and steal their land to this very day. It still amazes me how you lot don't see the irony in your failed arguments that you keep shamelessly recycling.
Anyway, in an alternate reality I won't be in Jerusalem kicking it with someone who put the blame on my people while they endured a literal genocide. I would instead be in Safad with my great grandfather's goats, but you evil scum killed all of them.

Anyway I just need to say that it is so very telling how the only two times I received an influx of messages from Israelis crying that they are desperate for peace but apparently Palestinians are in the way were:
In October 2023
In the past 24 hours following Iran's attack
Don't think for a second that we don't see right through your fake concerns, when all you did in the past six months when Gaza was being slaughtered is advance Israeli propaganda and aid in intensifying and prolonging the genocide.
We don't believe your pleas, not when your socials are filled with "grwm for war" today and tiktok dances from destroyed Palestinian homes just yesterday.
Fuck all of you.

TWO MONTHS BEFORE Hamas attacked Israel, the Pentagon awarded a multimillion-dollar contract to build U.S. troop facilities for a secret base it maintains deep within Israel’s Negev desert, just 20 miles from Gaza. Code-named “Site 512,” the longstanding U.S. base is a radar facility that monitors the skies for missile attacks on Israel. On October 7, however, when thousands of Hamas rockets were launched, Site 512 saw nothing — because it is focused on Iran, more than 700 miles away. The U.S. Army is quietly moving ahead with construction at Site 512, a classified base perched atop Mt. Har Qeren in the Negev, to include what government records describe as a “life support facility”: military speak for barracks-like structures for personnel. Though President Joe Biden and the White House insist that there are no plans to send U.S. troops to Israel amid its war on Hamas, a secret U.S. military presence in Israel already exists. And the government contracts and budget documents show it is evidently growing. The $35.8 million U.S. troop facility, not publicly announced or previously reported, was obliquely referenced in an August 2 contract announcement by the Pentagon. Though the Defense Department has taken pains to obscure the site’s true nature — describing it in other records merely as a “classified worldwide” project — budget documents reviewed by The Intercept reveal that it is part of Site 512. (The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.)

The Lemkin Institute for Genocide has issued a genocide alert for the West Bank
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Lemkin Institute is horrified by the dire situation transpiring in the West Bank. During what has already been a devastating six months of conflict in Gaza, the Israeli military and far-right settlers have used the cover of war to conduct continuous attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank, often leading to death and forced displacement. These attacks have been underreported in the mainstream Western press, which has also failed to tie Israel Defense Force (IDF) and settler violence in the West Bank and East Jerusalem to the genocide being committed in Gaza. These processes are all part of an overwhelming push on the part of Israeli authorities to oust Palestinians from their remaining ancestral lands. In other words, Israel is committing genocide against Palestinians across Palestine.

[SOURCE]
Maternity kits, medical threads and scissors, water testing kits, anesthetics, mobile desalination units, etc do you see the pattern? Israel is not only starving the people of Gaza but it also wants to ensure the spread of disease through contaminated water and surgical tools, as well as ensuring injured Palestinians suffer through horrendous pain.
It's beyond sickening.
