When we went to Davao, one of the cafes we visited was  the Purge Coffee Roaster. It is about 7 kilometers away from Abreeza place, in where we stayed. It is just a small cafe yet elegant. I love the earthy tones and the lightning complemented the industrial-like furniture which makes the ambiance- cozy and gracious. There were few customers when we got there, and i’ve got to enjoy the luxury of my imagination- it functions much better when stimulated by the smell of coffee and silence.. I ordered a black tea with a really great smell and they’d put a dry lemon into it. It is really good but the aroma of their coffee outweighs everything, it smells sooo good. Literally one of the best! It makes me want to try their coffee but my stomach wasn’t that strong and persistent that time, I enjoyed my cup of tea nonetheless.
Although it was just a short cafe visit, because we were afraid we would get stuck by traffic on the way back. I am thankful I got to experience such a subtle cafe and I will definitely pay a visit again someday… and by that time I will try their coffee.

This photo was taken at Tamper Coffee and Brunch in Bohol on April 1, 2018. This is one of the best breakfast place on the island. It was a late breakfast and I was famished. Hence, the rice with pork chop and egg. My beau had american breakfast consisting of bacon, egg and toast.  They have variety of dishes like pasta, sandwiches, and rice meals. On our second visit, I had chorizo burger which is surprisingly good. Their modern interior with a hint of scandinavian style making the place looked so cozy. I could sit there all day playing my lofi playlist and just sip matcha (btw, one of the best matcha) Astonished when they have  their menu on a tablet so you’ll just need to swipe and select to place an order. So modern, ayt? (That was the first time I encounter that) The staff were especially accommodating as well.
In our trip to Bohol, we visited eight cafes for breakfast alone and when beau needs a good wifi connection we often visit Tamper and we will just sit there drinking coffee as he busied himself with work on his laptop while I engrossed myself watching The Shannarah Chronicles on netflix. Sadly I couldn’t find the other photos but there is this one unique, native cafe called Garden Cafe that were so memorable as well. When we arrived at the cafe I was dumbfounded when the staff hand us a pen and paper followed by sign language, that’s when I realized that their staff were deaf not only her alone but all the other staffs as well. Yes im amazed! so the place were apparently quiet except for the guest talking obscurely. Ok really am entertained! When you need something, if they can’t see your hand signal you don’t have any choice but approach, poke the staff and write what you need (if you don’t know how to sign language) Aside from the astounding uniqueness of the place, the food is oozing as well. I had the best native hot cocoa and puto with mangga there. I certainly am gonna visit those cafes again. And will revisit all the sorely beautiful memories that I am forever grateful I got to experience

This coffee shop was located in capitol. I have started hanging out here since 2016. This place has became my sanctuary since then. It is newly renovated and I am loving it because it looks cozy with the high ceiling compared as before, it looked small and old. Now, after the renovation the interior looks crafty and industrial.

You’re afraid.
You’re afraid he’ll notice the mismatched colours that make up who you are, and that he’ll never be able to un-see them.
You’re afraid this wild kaleidoscope of emotions you call life will be too much for him, and eventually he’ll get sick of it, and of you.
You’re afraid the disproportionate features of your body, mind, and soul will be too uneven, even in a world as asymmetrical as this.
You’re afraid of your bare, white skin against his, and of him seeing the entirety of you just as pale and disinteresting.
You’re afraid that slowly, the curves of your body and the twists in your mind will be nothing but blockage on what should be a clear path.
You’re afraid that what was once described as beautiful and reckless will become bland and thoughtless.
You’re afraid that the garden you sit in will grow into razor sharp thorns and you will cut anyone who comes close.
You’re afraid that secretly, deep down, you still are- and will always be- absolutely terrified.

“My love games are one of the most stupid tortures. They are humiliating, dangerous, futile, and meaningless – yet I cannot give them up once and for all. I know they lead nowhere, can lead nowhere, and that they are doomed to end in the most grotesque way, but each time I embark on the same ridiculous farce, with some weird combination of imposture and good faith, as if I were trying it all out for the first time. It is hard to be a has-been, and seriously to accept that fact.”
— Mihail Sebastian, a journal note of 30 October, 1942  in “Journal 1935–1944: The Fascist Years”, translated from the Romanian by Patrick Camiller
