Monster Energy Drink for The Sims 2

This is a 4to2 conversion from ddaeng, medium poly (2k). The straw version is a deco object (found in deco-miscellaneous) but there is also an invisible recolor for the straw if you want to use the can without it. 8 colors. Plus I added 4 functional drinks (black and green, white, blue and green) that can be served or drinked alone from the fridge. They will also increase energy.

So, I needed something to distract me from Good Omens 2 and THAT ending, so started playing Animal Crossing again - that game is great therapy! And then I saw that people had converted thing from Animal Crossing to the Sims, which led to this...

65 clutter items converted from Animal Crossing to The Sims 2! A few of these have been done by other creators, but I wanted less chunky versions. Everything is in Deco -> Misc for 12 simoleons each. Most have recolours.

I would like to point out that the jigsaw puzzle can easily be recoloured with any picture you like - it's like recolouring a painting or poster, just in case anyone wants to make more recolours. :)

Chemtrail conspiracies don't make sense: an essay.

Modern science, through spectrography, is able to get a pretty good idea of the chemical and isotopic makeup of distant stars and even exoplanets (this is relevant to chemtrail conspiracies).

In early 2021 a sandstorm blew across the Mediterranean from North Africa, depositing sand in Southern France. French scientists detected trace amounts of caesium-137 in the sand. Caesium-137 is a radioactive isotope of caesium which does not occur naturally and is only produced by nuclear weapons or nuclear accidents (Chornobyl, Fukushima). It was a leftover of French nuclear tests from the early 1960s. The concentrations of the isotope in the sand were negligible and not a threat to public health, hovering at 80 000 becquerels per square kilometer. Becquerels are a unit measuring the amount of radioactive atoms decaying per second. To give you an idea of what 80 000 becquerels per square kilometer means, a normal healthy human body contains around 8000 becquerels (mostly carbon-14 and potassium-40, which are radioactive isotopes). My latest Christmas party was technically a bigger radiological "hazard" than that sandstorm. By the way, this radiation in our bodies is entirely natural and was happening before we detonated fission bombs on Earth and before nuclear accidents like Chornobyl.

So how does this fit with chemtrails? Well I've established that scientists are really, really good at detecting chemicals, even in small amounts. There are thousands of scientists all over the world who study atmospheric chemistry for a living. If there was an organized effort to spread deleterious substances from planes it would have been found nearly instantly and scientists would have published papers about it. Again, we're talking thousands of scientists all over the world. A conspiracy on this scale can't be hidden, at least for any significant amount of time.

On the subject of planes themselves, planes need to be very carefuly built to account not just for mass but also where that mass is. It's critical that the center of mass of a plane doesn't change too much (say, if the fuel tanks are empty or all the passengers decide to move to one end of the plane at once). So chemtrail tanks would have to be accounted for in the plane's schematics and construction. Again, this would mean for decades aeronautic companies all over the world never spilled the beans, from CEOs to engineers to assembly line workers. No plans were leaked, nothing. And the ground work crews and pilots never noticed clandestine chemtrail tanks on their planes when going through maintenance, repairs and inspections, and the chemicals somehow get refilled with no one the wiser.

This means contrails behind jet planes are just that, condensation trails, not a nefarious plot to spread chemicals.

Asking Sims 2 simblrs, where can I find some good firearm CCs? Purely decorative, nothing functional. I'm specifically looking for more civilian/hunting firearms as opposed to military/police/tactical ones. Think hunting rifles and shotguns. Also ammo carton boxes (12 gauge shotgun shells, .30-06, .45-70, .308 Winchester, etc...). Thank you so much in advance.

I've revamped afbodyburglar and afhairbeanie to something sleeker, a la a certain iconic catburglar. I have two versions of the outfit, and two versions of the hair.

afbodyburglarV1 is defaulted from @kurimas's 4t2 Sentate Charlie jumpsuit. However, while stylish af, jeweled sandals arent the most practical choice for sneakiness, so I shoeswapped them for another Kurimas item, his conversion of Lindasims' thigh high boots.

The first version, the Julie Newmar, is Grecadeasims' 4t2 Leahlilith's Harmon. The mask is part of the hair for both versions. The second afhairhatbeanie option, the Eartha Kitt, is @puccamichi 's Skysims 137 Hair Retextures.

Apologies for the craptastic preview pics, I've been wrestling with these for days and couldn't be fussed.

EDIT: Looking at my preview pics in Tumbr made me a little unhappy with the quality of the walls/floors, so I gussied them up, replaced them in the zip, reuploaded, and updated the download links.

Hidimart Retail Display! The top picture is a scultpture, the bottom two are fully functional, slotted OFB shelves, brought into existence through the munificence of @hugelunatic's tutorial.

The Golden Meriklime Display. I wasn't able to make @faesims4 elderberry and grape seedlings look good in the game, so the elderberry seedling (above left) has been replaced with an edit of the TS2 hydroponic plant, and the grape seedling (above right) has been replaced with an edit of @sunmoon-starfactory's fantastic Grapes of Rad (credit provided in the item's catalog description).

Visions of Sugarplums Toybox, with My Little Pegasus, My First Wand, and Butterfly Wand. The animations for the toys aren't perfect, but the toybox is functional, and the animations are on point.

The Champignon Toadstool Chair and accessory toadstools. The chair is found in chairs, and the toadstools under Landscaping/Flowers.

Ok, I took the Doppelganger Console down to fix some issues I missed, but now it's back, exorcised and improved!

This is a logic skilling object in Practice Mode

And because I thought it would be cute for children to teach their grandparents how to play video games, I've altered the age limits so that children can offer lessons to or be asked for lessons from the other age groups as long as the child has a higher logic skill than the other sim

I feel like a ginormous asshole for not catching my fubars before posting, and then it taking so long to fix, so as an apology, I've made you four customs video games!

And I made posters for them using @sushigal007's mesh.

So, I made these really elaborate movies for the games before I realized that they would be too long for the games themselves, but at that point there was no way I wasn't going to use them. Fuck that noise. So I've created a television station that builds games enthusiasm: The Gaming Intelligence Agency.

139 followers gift! This started as a 100 followers gift, and by the time it was completed, it was 139 followers. This has taken over 2 months, and several twelve hour days, but I will never ever be able to give the community back even a fraction of what it's given me. @thesims2keepsmesane has the most relevant handle ever.

So let's get to it!

With the gracious permission of @faesims4, I bring you a 4t2 conversion of their absolutely incredible Sims Makin Magic recreations!

First up is the Tuscan Kitchen:

The counters were made using Numenor's counter and island templates.

The Never Cold Food Hold, as a functional refrigerator.

Both a ceiling and a wallmounted version of the Futilo Bronze Windchimes.

The Persian Plush Pet Bed - this is a functional pet bed for all except large dogs - I couldn't get the animations to work. There is some very minor clipping when the pet is turning around before settling, but overall it looks good!

The Tragic Magic Basket - functional endtable with one slot.
