So Deerling and Sawsbuck both change with the seasons. Do you think that if they were taken out of Unova to, say, Sinnoh, which has a colder climate, they would still change as normal, or would they stay mostly in their winter form? I kind of think they'd be somewhere in between winter and the current season depending on where in Sinnoh they are.

Their seasonal adaptions of change are universal and ever adjusting. Just about every grass type will have changes from one season to the next, be them obvious like Sawsbuck, or subtle like a Snover. Sawsbuck have the ultimate stabiliser when travelling, normal type genes. This makes them very robust to sudden or extreme changes in environment, that coupled with their active form changes mean you can usually take them just about anywhere, and they'll stay in whatever form suits that location best. There is no limit to how long they can stay in each form. Some herds notably live in forever icy climates, and have stayed healthy and happy in a herd for may years. others have been spotted in tropical forests, donning larger broader leaves suited to catching more light through the dense tree cover, unchanging because of their climates humidity and temperatures.

People seem to worry about this species, i'd argue a little too much. These are one of the most adaptable grass types thanks to their dual normal type nature, making them hardy battle partners, travelling mounts, and tough to all weathers. They're one of the few grass types that will handle ice, freezing conditions, snow, sheer wind, almost everything. They're even noted in more coastal locations, not bothered by the salty sea air.

Wherever you go, they'll change to suit it. It's when they don't change that you know somethings up, and should go to a nurse. ((A heads up, Sawsbuck doesn't change form in the games once caught. This is illogical and the blog doesn't run by that rule.))

all of the hermits are hels hermits except xisuma. there were never any regular hermits, they got the invitations and stayed on their single player worlds because HERMIT. their clones had no qualms abt making friends tho

Oh. OH. Anon I'm losing it right now, this makes so much sense, my mind is racing -

Two questions, though:

One. Does Xisuma know? Does he know that none of the people who responded are who he thinks they are, that the invites all got sent back and intercepted, that he's living on a world filled with what several years ago he might have considered monsters?

And two. If the implication here is that Xisuma is the only true Hermit, and therefore all of the others are from Hels: who the hell is Helsknight?

5 things your character can't do while speaking

Choke. Just think about it, seriously. Think about what choking is and imagine speaking while it’s happening. That would fuckin’ hurt, man.

Hiss. Look, it’s just not possible, okay? No matter how “evil” you want your character to seem.

Snarl. Animals snarls. The Beast from Beauty and the Beast snarls. The Hulk snarls. You know who doesn’t snarl? PEOPLE WHEN THEY’RE SPEAKING.

Shriek. Come on, 99% of the time, “shriek” is not the word you want.Let’s face it: if you put an exclamation point at the end of the sentence, your reader gets the picture. Don’t bring to mind banshees and screaming toddlers.

Sneer. I’m not even going to bother explaining this one. “SNEER” ISN’T EVEN A SOUND.
