A little bit of a heads up for commissioners:

While it is true that I have stated plenty of times I take a while because of Univeristy, it has now combined with a new job in the area I'm studying for (which also means I have to study for work). This has left me with less time and with only one free day which is Sundays.

I hope I can stabilize and get used to my new schedules so I can make space for drawing ASAP. In the meantime, thank you very much for the patience, and for trusting me with your stories and characters.

I really enjoy drawing commissions, it has helped me challenge myself, and I hope the results make up for the long waits.

I got this one with help, I targeted it exactly for this, the rough gallery. Satoi-san’s sketches.

I scanned only the rough gallery, the interview with Satoi (I wish someone translated it :( ), a couple of illustrations that were not fully scanned by anyone before (I mean I only saw cut versions). The rest are already scanned images however if you like my scanner quality :v and see no decent scan of certain illustration do message me (:

If any of my link falls tell me or reupload it yourselves, I don’t watermark this because I don’t need credits for this, I don’t want them at all (after all I only bought and scanned this), I’m sharing as an artist who wanted these scanned and never got them until I’ve done it myself. I recommend buying it, it’s gorgeous. Of course scanning mistreats the book but I don’t mind that much c: so I hope you enjoy these scans and please do buy it if you are interested because you won’t regret it. Happy (late) anniversary and Valentine's day to my beloved!

First finished personal illustration I've done in a long while :) (This sketch/linework was there for actually an entire year xD) ! This is our hunters and palamutes from monster hunter rise. I hope to improve in this type of settings, nature/wilderness hasn't been my strength since I've mostly done interior backgrounds.

I don't think I have the art skill to be making tutorials or stuff, but given that I've been asked about them I'll try to make them :) so please look forward to that!

Do you think Ashley will return to the franchise in a future game? Some people say no, but there are a lot more people who do want to see her again and are hopeful that Capcom will bring her back (as happened with Sherry in RE6).

I'm one of those people who believe she will return, why? Well, during RE4R there is a lot of emphasis on Leon and Ashley being a team and working well as a team. Not only that, but Ashley proved to be very competent, even going so far as to kill a Regenerador and several Ganados. Most importantly, Ashley said she wants to be an agent and protect the country along with Leon, and in the end, Leon reconfirms that she can defend herself. I don't think Capcom put all those dialogues and scenes randomly, I think they have something prepared for her, maybe in a very possible reimagining of RE6, (and yes, reimagining because no one wants a remake of such a bad game, right?).

While I would love to see Ashley as a government agent, matured and transformed from her experience, she doesn't strike me as someone who would be able to sustain extensive physical training in order to be either an agent or a BSAA member. She is too sweet! (Remake Ashley is so adorable honestly!)

I think she said she wanted to be an agent like Leon, and work with him, because she was trying to hit on him. She very clearly has a crush on Leon! When you like someone you want to spend more time with them, and to be seen as a team with that person, so this is what I think the dialogues were to imply.

At the end of the game she even offers to have him as her bodyguard, but he kindly rejects her by telling her she doesn't need him.

As for Resident Evil 6, honestly the story is so convoluted and bad... I don't think there'll be a remake of it. If anything Capcom is soft-rebooting the series, so I'm not sure what'll happen.

There's other forgotten characters, Rebecca and Billy come to mind. I think Capcom might come back to them. As for Ashley, I do hope they do something with her, but I really don't think Capcom is thinking about her for now.

Let's hope they do bring her back (the "this suuuuuckksssssss" dialogue in the armor room is my favorite line from her lmao)

Tu arte de Resident Evil es realmente muy bueno, no entiendo por qué tienes tan poco apoyo :'(, te conozco desde que empezaste a dibujar sobre tus OC's en el fandom de DL y tu estilo artístico ha cambiado y mejorado mucho, (incluso estudiando tu arte, he mejorado yo misma en el dibujo). Ojalá volvieras a hacer más tutoriales de cómo colorear, especialmente porque me gusta bastante tu forma de colorear en los fan arts de RE.

Creo que volveré a hacer tutoriales, pero los dejaré en kofi (con acceso abierto porque no me gusta privatizar el conocimiento), quizá hasta los haga en formato video. Últimamente no he tenido mucho tiempo no sólo por la universidad sino por unos temas de salud (muelas de juicio y cirugías :') )

Probar otros estilos, fuera de DL, me ha ayudado mucho, especialmente Resident Evil porque me obliga a dibujar de una forma un poco más realista. Cuando es hora de dibujar DL mucho de lo que aprendí con RE lo aplico.

En cuanto al apoyo, mi Tumblr especialmente, creció mucho en su época con Diabolik Lovers, y tal como pasa en otras redes sociales, los algoritmos no benefician un "cambio de contenido". Cuando mi Tumblr creció todavía no había un dashboard basado en qué tan popular es un post, por lo que hoy día es mucho más difícil crecer en redes sociales.

Siempre que mi arte inspire a otros, habré logrado mi cometido :3 !

I think I'll do tutorials again, but will post them in kofi (with free access because I don't like to privatize knowledge), I might even make them in video format. Lately I haven't had much time not only because of University but because of some hgealth issues (wisdom teeth and surgeries :') )

Trying out different styles, outside DL, has helped me a lot, specially because Resident Evil forces me to draw more realistically. When it's time to draw DL, I apply a lot of what I've learned with RE.

About the support, my tumblr specially, grew a lot in its DL time and just like it happens with other social media, the algorithm doesn't like changes in content. When my tumblr grew the dashboard wasn't based on how popular a post was either, so nowadays it's a lot harder to grow on social media.

As long as my art inspires others, I'll have achieved my goal :3 !

So I saw these clothes and thought they'd look nice on Ashley (+ some doodles of her as practise).

Originally I had drawn her just standing in a static front view but I've always disliked how "static" my art tends to look, I much prefer to include movement (unless I intend the drawing to be a potrait of sorts). I achieved this by drawing a box with its proper perspective then fitting Ashley inside it, so I could tell which parts of her were above or under eye level.

Helped a lot :)
