You’re not sure how long you’ve been here. After the second week of just blankly staring at the never changing cave walls surrounding you, you figured there was no point in keeping track of it. What good does it do you anyway? It’s not like counting the days will miraculously get you out of here. While you might not know the number, you do know that it’s been far too many. Your skin has grown pale and gaunt from the lack of sunshine and warmth you’re so used to, and the diet of raw fish hasn’t exactly been very kind to you. The cave is tall enough for you to stand up in comfortably, so at least your circulation isn’t completely shot, but you honestly lack the energy to stay on your feet for too long. Escaping, even just back up to the island, is your only chance at survival. You don’t think you’re going to last very long down here. It’s already gotten to the point where you’ve begun looking forward to Jungkook’s short daily visits, even just the sight of something almost human enough to keep you sane.

You let out a heavy sigh, the noise echoing around the cave as you lean back against the stone wall. Over the last couple of days, the creature has begun to bring you little treasures alongside with your food. You’re not exactly sure why, but it’s nice to have something to do – even if it’s just tracing the patterns on the lockets and pendants over and over. You run your fingers over the small pile of golden jewelry by your side, trying your best to keep your thoughts away from the people it must have belonged to. Jimin might have managed to get away, but you doubt the rest of them did. Two of the pendants in your pile belonged to the crew Jimin brought with him, and you suspect that if you give Jungkook a few more days, he’ll bring you the remaining three. As if you summoned him with your straying thoughts, a small splash in the water alerts you of the creature’s arrival. You turn your head just in time to see Jungkook hoisting himself up on the ledge, another fish and a new pendant dropped at your feet. You silently scoot closer to the edge, offering up your hand to the creature’s expectant red eyes. Jungkook nuzzles into your hand with a happy thrill, rubbing his cheek along your palm. You suppress a shudder at the sound, ignoring the soft skin underneath your fingertips as you stare at the headless fish at your feet. Sometimes you wish you could share the same fate as your food.

One thing I realized after reading the stories written by you in succession is how much improved, mature and on point your writings has become.

Your storyline has always been phenomenal but the way you portray them, He Owned me not Anymore showed how far you have come as a writer in terms of delivering ( The lines, the wording, the way you choose the next phase of the story).

This specially makes me so happy as a reader to watch that when you start something new, something out of pure joy where you are not so worried about perfection and then carrying through the process and it becomes something so refine without us even noticing the small detailing that changed in time.

But this doesn't make the previous work any less valuable, rather more precious because those not so perfect writing laid the foundation of what is there today. The emotions, the caring touch are still there but somehow they have become more effortless and seamless. It's such a joyful thing to experience ❤️

24. Obligated, oneshot. Namjoon x reader, arranged marriage AU.

25. Plateu, two chapters short story. Jimin x reader, Jungkook x reader, College AU. A bit of angst, happy ending (I guess, depends on how you see it. Kkkk). It's on AO3.

26. Moonlit Throne, series of drabbles. King Yoongi of Joseon era, inspired by Daechwita. The depiction of scenes, ambience and culture are amazingly close to reality, the author clearly did her research. Just the beginning of first part already had my jaw dropped. 🤭

27. Bow to You, miniseries. King Jungkook x Queen OC. It's angst, a heavy one. I usually will avoid this kind of stuff, but there are so many emotions mixed inside my heart, the heart wrenching dynamic between them that draw my curiousity of what is going to happen next, I just can't stop reading.

28. Never, Never Fall, oneshot. Music producer Yoongi x reader. It's not a good idea if you read this when you are sad, because you'll cry even more. But it's really worth it. Very very beautiful.

29. Second Chances, oneshot. CEO Jungkook x almost ex wife reader. The smut!🤭 It's ,again, so beautiful. Jungkook is such a charm here.

30. Guarded, Mafia Hoseok x reader, miniseries. This one is interconnected with Namjoon's "Guilty" that I mentioned above.

31. The Garden Thief, long oneshot, hybrid Jungkook x reader. Want to know how it feels like to have a handsome bunny doing it on you under the rain? Then this is the story for you.😝

32. Gwanghae Flow, oneshot. Yoongi x queen reader in historical AU. Borderline PWP, but I include it in my fav anyway, because, omg, the debauchery is too beautiful and intense.

33. Remembrance, long oneshot, Yoongi x reader. Lost of memory from accident, heavy angst.

34. Stoic, two parter, CEO JK x wife reader.

35. Amor Vincit Omnia, (Latin, translated loosely as : Love conquer everything). A series, mobster Yoongi x OC Kim Ji-Soo. I usually steer clear of story about BTS paired with Blackpink, but this one had successfully kept me on edge, curious of what would unfold next.

36. Reflections, mini series of drabbles, Musician / Idol Yoongi x reader. Exes to lovers, angst with happy ending.

37. Faded Love, long oneshot, CEO Jimin x Wife Fashion Designer reader. Infidelity, angst with (somewhat) happy ending. The pain was still there at the end tho.😭

38. Forgivable, oneshot. Yoongi x reader. He was drafted, but he didn't tell you. It's on AO3.

39. Bangtan Drabbles, series of -well..., drabbles. Short and fun reading, but well written. Also on AO3.

40. Don't Talk to the Neighbours, series. Idol Yoongi × reader is deaf. It's fluff, and their dynamic, it's different and interesting. On AO3.

41. Submission, series. CEO Dominant Yoongi x Sub Reader, BDSM AU. I don't usually recommend story from Wattpad because of the ads that pops like annoying zits before period- after every f***ing chapter if you don't pay premium. But this story, omg, it will worth the pain in your groin ass. Really. That good.

Ok - I just realized that this book is an adaptation word for word from a professional published novel. No wonder it's so damn good. Although I'm a bit disappointed, but either way, it's highly entertaining.

42. Duty Before Love, ongoing series. King Jungkook x concubine reader. Curious of what will happen next.

43. Crashing Into You, long one-shot. Mafia Hoseok x reader. Very well written.

44. My Tiny Secret, CEO Seokjin x reader. Angst and infidelity, some fluff too. This story will give you a rainbow of feelings. Really good.

45. Propinquity (Law of Seesaw), one shot. Bestfriend to lovers AU. Fluff and angst. Very relatable for me.

46. All's Fair in Love and War, Korean Joseon dynasty historical setting, Jungkook x reader, Jin x reader. This is written so well, which very rare. A MUST READ if you love historical romance! It's on AO3. Seemed the author deactivated her tumblr acc.

She didn't remember much about her childhood but she often dreamed of two people screaming at each other, blaming one another for their misery which she had grown to believe were her parents.

Her earliest memory dated back to the day when a tall man clad in a black long coat and a hat, who she presumed was her father, dragged her out of a shabby car and took her inside a huge mansion that later would be her home

Something bad had happened that day. Though she could no longer recall clearly what it was, the dread that had clutched her heart was as obnoxious as the physical pain she was going through at the moment due to the bullet wound.

She shifted in her bed for the hundredth time. It was difficult to relax because the bandage on her right hand was preventing her from moving comfortably. Despite the throbbing pang engulfing her system, she had a huge smile on her face as she patiently waited in her luxurious room with eyes fixed on Sir Damianos to announce that she was finally a free woman.

The feeling she thought she could never get to experience,

Her ultimate dream which she thought would never be fulfilled,

Fortunately, just like how every dog has its day, she got her luck in the form of a bullet that was meant for someone else. Someone named Jeon Jungkook; The youngest son of the most powerful individual in the country.

His father, The king of the underworld; also known as Sir Damianos, had the entire country in the palm of his hands. To be more precise, the entire country was ruled by a Mafioso, not the government.

Venessia, the county she was born and raised used to be slummed in poverty, crimes, death, and violence. People used to be murdered in broad daylight, women brutally raped in the middle of the street and the state was on the verge of collapsing yet the corrupt government did nothing but grow thicker by exploiting the country's resources. However, everything changed when one specific young lad took over the local gang at the age of fourteen, and with that, the rise of the world's most feared mafia had begun. 

Earning the trust of the people by providing everything their government couldn't,  within a few years, half of the country's territories were under his control. He trained and employed young men in his cartel and to gain their loyalty financed their kids and families. Not only that, He opened schools and hospitals with the money he earned through his illegal business and after proving that their government is useless, the man started the revolution and assassinated every corrupt politician, and took the country for himself with the people's consent.

Anyways, the revolution wasnt bad for her country because, with his rise, the economy of the country rose as well. The huge money he earned through his cartel was invested in the development of the country and in less than a decade, Venessia was one of the richest countries and the entire world rely on them for the supply of oil and natural gas thanks to the land sitting over a hundred of trillion worth mineral resources. Now the country had their own space station on the moon and a hundred more lunching to explore the universe beyond eyes.

In short, Venessia was a grand empire of a Mafia. Sir Damianos was the government and his words are the law. Nevertheless, they did have a government for name sake and president to fool the outer world.

Due to his immense contribution to the people, citizens worshipped Sir Damianos as their saviour sent by the god. People had formed a religion around him and most importantly they could give or take lives for him.

Everything in the country was titled after him and everything he owned was for his entitled sons whom he adored, most specifically his youngest son Jeon Jungkook.

Born to his second wife, Jeon Jieun, an international superstar, Jungkook was the light of his eyes and meaning to his existence in a literal sense.

In another word, She had saved her entire country by taking the bullet that was meant for Jungkook, therefore, her happiness regardless of the agonizing pang made complete sense to her. Honestly, she wouldn't be surprised if she was given the most prestigious medal in her country for saving the young lad's life.

"Ask anything you want my child, it's yours"  Sir Damianos had declared the moment she had gained her consciousness.

Having the word of such a powerful man made her feel like she was the Thanos who had all of the infinity stones. Her hope had flown out the rooftop and now was soaring high in the sky because the day she had dreamt of had finally landed on her feet at last.

At that point, she knew even if she asked for a billion dollars she would gladly shower her with it therefore, she asked for one thing that mattered to her the most.

"Free me," She asked and the smile on the man's face disappeared in a flash because he knew the gravity of her request.

"I want to be a free woman" She repeated and even the servants staggered backwards when the consequences of her appeal dawned upon them.

After all, for nine years, she was Jeon Jungkook's property. Saya was gifted by Sir Damianos to his youngest son on his fourteenth birthday as his birthday present.

All her life he had owned her but now...
