When Covid started spreading I got pretty anxious about food and being home all the time after traveling so much after being on the go for many years. I had always wanted my own garden and though I had space I never had time or motivation. One good thing that's come from 2020 chaos is I finally did it. I prepped a space, planted some seeds, and watched them grow literally rather than metaphorically this year. I have to say I'm quite satisfied and it's really just begun. It's not huge, it's not as big and beautiful as many others I've seen so far....but I did the thing....mostly on my own with a little help from my trusty partner @selomonofficial. It feels good. To know I'll have good homegeown goodies for fall and some before. We've already been enjoying the Swiss Chard and Spinach, and we're looking forward to peppers, onions, squash, tomatoes, and hopefully sweet potatoes and more! It's all an experiment , but aye gotta start somewhere right? I even left room for plants later in the season. Those feels when you've worked really hard for something and its finally in your hands. Yet you realize the journey eye has really just begun and theres so much learning and manifesting still yet to do. Aye! That's the fun part. Putting in a little time each and every day to make your dream your reality is a part of the magic. Its seeing and feeling something come to life that only others maybe even you thought may only be a dream. Go after dreams friends. Find a way to believe you deserve to go for it. Even if it's just simply for YOUR joy. I don't create for others. I use to. I create now because there is such a intense desire to create things, to create art, to create music, to create poems, or even experiences, courses, group containers, not just for the others, but because there is this deep desire within that wants to come out an be experienced. That being said I'm so glad to be able to feel the joy of creating just to create again. The Great Pause has reminded me that life is about doing the things that feel so beautifully right for the sake of still experiencing joy. That includes working through blocks, anger, fear, and tons of emotions to get to that creative flow state. That being said I'm doing another round of the chakra EMOTIONAL ALIGNMENT challenge I created a few years ago. This will be 7 days of going through the 7 main energy and emotional centers of our existence and working through the blocks that are holding you back from following your dreams and creating more joy and balance in your life. What seeds have you planted lately? Where have you been focusing your time through The Great Pause? For me music, art, and gardening have been my saving grace for sanity, comfort, and growth. My whole life I've wanted more time to do musical things, to create, to explore, to be present in the now. I've been a little less active on some of my social media conversations as I've been doing deep dives into my inner dreams and bringing them into life one little step at a time. I'm working on a new release of jewels for the website. <3 I'm super excited about some new stones and styles (like this #larvakite #spinner #amulet. As in the stone spins around as a fidget, like a spinner ring. More details on that soon 🤭😅) I also had a work day and planned some new items to bring back to the online shop and various other locations with the help of @moony.maris! We even did a little photoshoot of some of my newest beauties so that you won't have to be seeing only my face and body type with the jewelry over on @copper.and.shine.alchemy 🧚♀️🥳😜 expanding the dream team. Yay!. Feelin fresh. But also exhausted 🙃. Anyone else feel like they're closing up lots of old cycles and starting lots of new adventures all at the same time? 🧚♀️New moon, fresh Shine vibes.🔥 New moons are all about releasing a layer of yourself and embracing who you fully are. With each new moon we embrace a new cycle. Blossoming into the being we are meant to show up as. Yesterday I released 5 new podcasts and relaunched #AwakeningWithTheGirls podcast which I feel really proud of already even though it's just kind of begun. I officially ran the behind the scenes network details for all shows for @Pbm2l myself this week. Doing many of the riskier behind the scenes tasks I had left to Selo being to hesitant to take the leap. I also featured bunch of amazing artists on a special Radio Showcase AND pushed myself out of my comfort zone to single and kind of play my own song live which I would have never done before now. This weekend I would typically be at some sort of festival about to start a tour of various speaking, teaching, and vending my goodies. Festivals are like fairy land for me. Somewhere I get to go without judgement. However, this year they aren't happening and that's okay.... I think we all needed a break anyway. So instead to honor the loss I feel for those memories I decided to dress up in my fairy gear and play in the woods with some of my new @copper.and.shine.alchemy goodies. I've got quite a few pretties to show off and before I get them uploaded I decided to share them in my stories. How do you meditate? When I was growing up meditation as you typically think of it was not a thing. It wasnt until about 5 or 6 years ago I got my whole body to relax for meditation. For years my main form of meditation has been painting. There is something about making colors smear across a canvas that bring me such peace and silence within so that I may hear even deeper what spirit wishes to share with me. People always ask how I get inspired and honestly I just start and go with the flow. More often than not I'm painting simple tree silhouettes and in my mind I'm planting new seeds of joy. Even if not for anyone else but me. I love getting paint all over me and feeling at one with my art. Sometimes things start that take me years to fully complete. 🔥💓I've been working on many surprises during The Great Pause. A few of which I would like to share with you very very soon.
