my family tried fostering a litter of kittens but to absolutely no one's surprise we kept them allRandyHalf-n-HalfGoldieCapsDollyBluemain is @sabertoothwalrus
he’s like the dad that’s like “we’re not getting a cat” and then immediately becomes obsessed with the cat except the dad IS is the cat and the cat is the dog
Half-n-Half’s method for befriending other pets is “bother them until they like me” and it’s really funny seeing him experience the other side of that dynamic for the first time. Poor guy doesn’t know what to do
Caps can be really hyper and rambunctious, and the only thing that seems to hold his attention long enough for him to stop being a menace are these feeder toys….. much to Randy’s dismay when no one wants to play with him lol
fun special fact about Half-n-Half: the last vertebra on his tail is kinked! It’s really hard to notice just from looking, but you can clearly feel it when you stroke his tail. It’s been like that as long as I can remember. It’s possible it’s from an injury, but since we got his litter when they were six weeks old, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was congenital!
Goldie alerted me to this brown marmorated stink bug! It is invasive to the US, especially my area of California that has a ton of orchards, so I caught that motherfucker. She wanted to eat it very badly.
