do you think ted lasso will continue

Who knows! Jason Sudeikis and Co. have always played it coy about whether they would ever continue the story while being very clear that they always saw the three-season arc we got.

Would I watch it? Absolutely!

Would I watch a spinoff series? Absolutely! I wrote about the one I want to see the most, actually.

I just feel like every episode Lucy has had something happen to her and she keeps getting knocked down-(1st argument with Tim, detectives exam, almost getting shot/ shooting the criminal, Tim icing her out then breaking up with her out of the blue, Tamara possibly moving out) like I feel like these last episodes we could see Lucy slowly spiral as well and see her really break down. Bb girl has been through A LOT! I am excited to see what happens with Lucy next!! What are your thoughts?? 

Lucy does have a cascade of not-so-great things hitting her all at once, and it's tough to watch because it never really eases up.

BUT I have to believe that's leading somewhere for her. I think she will have some personal or professional breakthroughs because of all these hurdles and setbacks. I don't think all of this is happening for no reason. The show has to be building to something for Lucy.

I'm a firm believer that Tim and Lucy will get back together, just not this season. And, honestly, I'm glad for it because I think they each have so much to work through individually before they can be in a relationship – Tim especially after the last episode.

Nevertheless, I am excited to see what comes next for Lucy. She's one of my favorite characters on TV right now.

Do you see Lucy going UC anytime soon now with the breakup??

I think Lucy would've taken a UC job regardless of her relationship status. Part of last season's story culminated in Lucy agreeing to be honest about how she's handling her UC work and Tim agreeing to be honest about what he needs from their relationship while Lucy is UC so their relationship doesn't repeat history. So, I think Lucy would've taken a job if it came up and she and Tim were still together, and I think she'd take one now that they're broken up.

I like Nick Marsh. I really do. BUT do you ever think about Cormac Hayes? He understood what it was like to lose a partner and raise children. He was Cristina Yang (!) approved. I’m still so hung up on what could’ve been with him and Meredith.

The Rookie: I just really miss Jackson. He was such a good friend to Lucy and since his death I feel like she hasn’t had that kind of relationship/ friendship (besides Tim but kinda not the same cause they are romantic) and I just really miss Lucy having that platonic friend she can also lean on (yes she has Tamara but she’s like 19 and it’s not the same) especially now with the breakup, Tim has Angela in is corner, but Lucy doesn’t reallly have that friendship with anyone else and I just know if Jackson was still alive he would be by her side through this alllll. What do you think??

I miss Jackson, too! And I'm sure Lucy does as well.

Yeah, other than Tamara, we haven't seen Lucy strike up any close friendships with any of the other characters since Jackson's death.

Having Lucy and Tim broken up — and likely (and understandably) avoiding each other for a while — could open the door for both characters to share scenes with other people more often.

I mentioned it in another post, but I'd like to see Lucy strike up a friendship with Celina or Aaron or even circle back to Nyla and Angela. Remember that speed dating from Season 2?

I'm always excited to get to know these characters — or any character on a procedural — outside their professional lives.

What do you think Lou meant when he said Eddie/Tommy "fell through?"

I've seen many interpretations of his words. Frankly, we won't know the truth unless someone — likely Tim Minear — says it.

The language "fell through" could mean anything. Who knows!

Tim Minear also spoke with Max Gao about his plans for different characters, like Natalia, who didn't return for Season 7. Maybe things had to change because of actor availability. Who knows!

Plus, let's remember that TV is an ever-evolving business, and shows are currently working with wild, time-crunched schedules. Every interview I've read with Minear includes some version of him explaining their tight schedules. That turnaround must be so stressful.

Why don't you think Eddie's been OOC?

I think he's just navigating life differently than he has in the past. One of the best examples I can think of in Season 7 is when he used his tools from therapy to help that woman in the hot tub.

I'm honestly shocked that so many people don't like Eddie's new era. To each their own, I guess. I've been loving his silly, goofy mood.

That man has been through SO MUCH, and he's done A LOT of work. Not every minute (or episode) of his life will be like this. The show clearly knows that he has plenty more trauma to address and work through in his own time. So, who am I to say he can't feel the joy wherever he finds it? Personally, I'm just glad that he realized the best thing for him is to NOT let Marisol move on because he does not know that woman who has had .2 seconds of screen time.

It's also a treat to see an actor play all sides of their character.
