99% of people will be unaffected, and this is NOT a crackdown on having nsfw content on gdrive

"What I think has happened is that drive has made several updates to its spam/abuse filtering and one of the focuses is trying to catch spammers who share explicit things in docs with random emails. Which is good in theory, but has the potential to hit false positives."

his recommendation is to keep NSFW words out of your doc titles and instead of sharing the "open link", share directly with you beta's email addresses.

It is also more likely to flag up explicit images, though that is less likely to be a fic problem.

Hey guys, so I took a teaching English as a foreign language course this year and I need to do some practical hours teaching non-native speakers to get my full certification - would anyone here be interested in some tutoring?

I’d love to help people with writing - my specialty is definitely creative writing (let me beta your fics and teach you where you’re consistently going wrong and how to fix it! Or just give you writing tips in general about story structure, pacing, etc), but if you have other writing you want assistance with I can probably help too, so please ask!

I’d want to do the calls over Skype or Discord probably, but let me know if you’d need something else and I can see about it. Video isn’t necessary because any text stuff just goes in instant messages so it’d just be audio, which has the added bonus of reducing the chance of bad lag. If you’re worried about your speaking skills try not to let that stop you - we’d be focusing on writing so that’s what I care about, and as long as I can understand you (or what you mean) we’re good! (And if I really can’t understand you you can just type in the messages :) ) If your listening is weak I’ve done a few hours already with a friend who said that my speaking is ‘pretty’ and very easy to understand, but I can easily adjust myself if you’re having trouble (and/or type something out if you’re really lost).

garrus’ striving for power and vigilante justice and for operating outside the system is what makes them hate him, but that’s so weak. i love it because it very clearly comes from a place of helplessness. he hates feeling impotent in the face of others’ pain. he feels that injustice too deeply to remain a detached observer, and if the system won’t let him bring an end to it, then he will find his own way. he’s so passionate about it that it borders on obsessive, and that, to me, is endlessly charming because it’s a hopeless cause. the galaxy is a shit place. one man can’t fix it. commander shepard can’t fix it. there is no rooting out every injustice until life is perfect everywhere, for everyone. until there’s no pain and helplessness. it’s not going to happen, and he knows it perfectly well, but he still bleeds for that ideal. his culture demands for him to accept the status quo in its essence and not put a toe over the line his entire life. but he feels too deeply for that. he lashes out like a cornered animal against it. he learns to rein it in, but it’s always there. rebel with an unattainable cause. too much compassion for a turian. i wouldn’t have him any other damn way.
