She’s Lookin’ Pretty
26yrs old with founder and she can still move pretty when she feels good. Poor Fancy was pretty sore after this jaunt in the arena. Not sure how much soreness is from the founder or if it’s just arthritis and being out of shape. It was my ignorance that caused her to develop Laminitis and founder. I’ve learned a lot since then and have been successfully managing her founder. We’ll see what happens when the triple digit heat hits in a few . Living in the desert sucks and so does Laminitis.

Living Her Best Life at 25yrs Young
Miss Fancy is alive and well and happy and sound as can be. She loves walks in the desert, turnout time, grazing, making me laugh, and spa days. She is my best friend and the light of my life.

Fancy’s Life
Since my last post on here, Fancy and I had to move to a new ranch because her feet weren’t compatible with the clay footing and irrigation at our previous ranch. She is finally sound again and her hoof bruises are almost completely gone. I finally got to turn her out for a few hours and give her a very needed bath, she shined up gorgeous. She is thriving and now she is only a mile or two from my house. My two wishes came true, we get to board with Carolyn and Fancy has a box stall with a run and she loves it. Fancy and I are going to have wonderful times at our new ranch.
