I'm struggling to write part III for "Forgive Me, if I Break You" so, I'm rereading the first two parts to get inspired and 20/20 vision is actually so funny. I'm laughing that somehwere in my little writer brain I thought luffy would know what the world "Formidable" means. I think I was giving the pirate captain more credit than he deserves lol.

Israel’s genocidal assault has killed or injured over 2 percent of Palestinian children in Gaza over the course of just six months, Save the Children has reported. In the months since October 7, Israel’s assault has killed over 13,800 children in Gaza and injured over 12,000 children, according to counts by UN officials and the Gaza Ministry of Health cited by Save the Children. This means that Israel has killed or injured at least 25,800 children in Gaza, or over 1 in every 50 children living in the region before the assault.
Previous reports have found that Israel is killing and injuring children at a rate that is unprecedented compared to any modern conflict. On average, Israel has killed about 75 children in Gaza each day over the course of the last six months, while many of the children who have survived have sustained lifelong injuries; an average of over 10 children are having one or both legs amputated every day in Gaza. Doctors in the region say that Israeli snipers have also been targeting children.

🇵🇸 Amidst the rubble of his destroyed home, Ashraf Nafedth burns a book he once treasured—a guide to international law. He now sees it as a lie, failing to protect people like him. The unfair treatment of countries like Palestine by powerful nations like the US shatters his trust in these laws. His burning of the book symbolizes his loss of faith in international law's ability to keep him safe and reflects the struggles of many in similar situations.

When you forget them🖤🖤🖤

Pairings: Straw hat boys x f!reader
Characters: Luffy, Sanji, Usopp, Zoro
Tw: Angst/ Fluffy ending/ slightly suggestive in Zoro's/ Whole cake island spoilers in Sanji's
Notes: I went overboard on everybody's ngl; This is written a little wonky; This is proofread but there may still be mistakes, especially because I'm editing this at 4 am🖤🖤🖤

S: When you get attacked by an enemy with a memory-erasing devil fruit, there's a few of your crew mates that take it harder than the others
🖤Luffy
Luffy knew something was wrong when he heard the way Nami yelled for him, and felt his stomach drop when he saw everyone crowded around you.
Doesn't take it well, would probably panic and handle it as if he's lost a crewmate. What do you mean you don't remember him? That didn't make sense. You've been through so much together.
Might grab your shoulders, shake them a little in his desperation, looking in your eyes with a stern glare and telling you different things you've done with the crew and with him, but the longer you just look at him confused, the more desperate he gets, the louder his voice gets, and the tighter his grip gets on your shoulders. He's scaring you at this point, this guy you don't know but that desperately wants you to, so Sanji and Usopp have to yank him away, telling him to calm down and that it's not going to work that way.
He's a little out of it for a while after that, probably spending his time sitting quietly on the Sunny's head. This is definitely one of those times when he needs support and a pep talk from Zoro. Needs him to tell him to stay strong and be the captain you need right now even if it hurts that you no longer remember him.
Fortunately, you're smart enough to know that these people are important to you, even if you don't remember them, and that something happened that erased your memory of them, so you don't fault Luffy for his hectic reaction for long before sympathizing with him. The only problem is that you don't know what to do to help, not knowing what might actually help and what might hurt.
He's not sure how to approach you for the first few weeks after your memory is wiped either. He tries to approach you cheerfully a few times, but he didn't like the feeling he got in his belly when you looked at him. Something in your eyes was missing. It didn't feel like the you he was used to because all the affection and familiarity was gone. It was gone and he didn't know how to bring it back, especially since he doesn't know how or why he ever received it in the first place. So he just misses you quietly from afar for a little while and the entire crew can feel how forlorn he is.
He gets tired of this quickly though because let's face it, he can't stay away from you for very long. He figures if he starts to treat you like normal again then eventually you'll feel normal again too. Being sweet and being all in our face, hanging off of you. Sanji has to remind him to ask for your permission before invading your space and sticking to you like glue, but what Sanji doesn't know is that you actually like it a lot, because even though it technically shouldn't feel familiar, it does. It's like muscle memory when you naturally wrap your arms around him when he hugs you, or how comfortably you sit onto his lap when he pulls you over by your hand. It feels right even if you can't recall all the times you two have been affectionate in the past.
It's a joyous day when your memory returns a month or so later.
You conceal your laughter when you bump into Luffy's back, resulting in him hurriedly shushing you while laughing a little himself. You two are currently sneaking into the kitchen after lunch because Luffy convinced you to somehow, claiming that he was still hungry. So now, after one more glance at Sanji, who was currently arguing with Zoro, Luffy tugs you into the kitchen after him. You watch him from the door(because you're on lookout duty) with a fond cross between a frown and a smile as he greedily rummages through the fridge.
“How can you still be hungry after the show you put on at lunch?” You sigh with crossed arms as you watch him pick out some things for you both to snack on later. Luffy just pouts the way he usually does when he's lying.
“I didn't even eat that much.” He mumbles unconvincingly, making you laugh.
“You almost ate Chopper! Just like that time in Alabasta!” You remind him with an eye roll before pausing and frowning. You remembered Luffy slurping Chopper up with his noodles. Not just the image you created for yourself after Luffy's reenactment of the story. You remembered the dinner. You vividly remember sitting at the dining table with your crew. You had the honor of having a seat by King Cobra that day,but that also meant sitting next to Luffy and having to watch him scarf down food. You even remember almost choking on your own when you saw Chopper fly across the table, before tugging him out of Luffy's mouth. Luffy notices your silence and looks up at you from where he's crouched in front of the fridge.
“Hey, what's wrong? Is Sanji coming?” He asks as he watches you stare into space near the door. With wide eyes you look up at him.
“Alabasta.” You say quietly while staring at him, and Luffy just tilts his head at you with a frown.
“Alabasta? What's the matter? Do you want me to tell you about Alabasta again?” He inquires, not understanding what you're trying to say. He's told you about that adventure before, but he'd gladly tell you again if you want him to. You just look at him and shake your head quickly.
“No Luffy! I remember Alabasta! I remember you almost eating Chopper with your noodles!” You shout at him with big eyes, waving your hands through the air a little as other memories come flooding back. Luffy's eyes grow in size too once he realizes what you're telling him.
“You do!?” He shouts and you nod your head.
“I do!” You scream back before Luffy scoops you up in a hug and spins you around, the both of you screaming excitedly. You have your memories back. You both continue to hug before Luffy quickly puts you down and pulls you with him out the kitchen door, yelling to everyone that there's good news.
***🖤***
🖤Sanji
Sanji is stunned when you first ask who they all are, before looking at him with the same confused look. While everyone else asks you questions and crowds you, Sanji just falls behind, numb. You don't remember them? Him? You don't remember him? Did that mean everything you two had gone through to be together was gone? Every event? Every conversation? Has that all disappeared?
You and Sanji had been through so much before finally being together. Pining for one another, jealousy, misunderstandings, deep conversations, your heartfelt confessions, the entire whole cake island scenario and his brief arranged marriage. So much, before getting to the point you both were now. So Sanji is more than heartbroken when you give him those kind smiles you'd give him so long ago instead of the affectionate and familiar ones he'd gotten used to.
Unlike with a few of the other boys in this list, Sanji doesn't spend time apart from you in his sadness. Even if things are different and his heart aches when you stick to yourself or behave overly polite with everyone, it would hurt him even worse if he couldn't see you. So Sanji still pampers you like he always does. Maybe not with kisses and sweet nothing's like before, but with the same consideration and attention nonetheless. Waiting on you hand and foot, putting your safety first, and swooning whenever you so much as breath(just not as outwardly as before, not yet anyway)
He's tempted to hang around you even more than usual, hoping that spending more time together would speed up the process of getting back to normal, but as much as a rush as he's in, he can see that you're not comfortable being on a ship full of strangers,, even if you know you technically know who they are, so he restrains himself until you open up to him first.
Fortunately you open up to everyone pretty quickly, your friendship with them feeling like second nature to you despite all your different personalities. And to Sanji's extreme pleasure, you warm up to him too, because luckily, you're still very much attracted to his personality( as well as his looks ahem) so it's not long before you develop a crush on him again just like before. Even if you both aren't as close as you used to be yet, all that time getting to know one another better than anyone else, non-existent, he does find it cute how considerate you are when it comes to initiating things. Always asking if you guys used to do this or that, if he was comfortable with you doing this, and his favorite, if you could kiss him. As if you had to ask.
The day your memory returns you wake up in your guy's room, unconsciously looking for him as you gain your bearings. It isn't until after you rub the sleep out your eyes that you remember that for the month your memory had been gone, for your own comfort, Sanji had offered to stay in the boy's quarters again. Sanji. You suddenly feel your nose and face start to burn. You rub at your eyes and watch the tear drip down your hand, confused. Why were you crying? You look back at the empty spot next to you and feel the tears spill freely down your face again. You suddenly wanted to see Sanji so desperately, as if you haven't seen him in a long time, and without even realizing it you start to recall memories of him. The one that stood out the most, being the first time your eyes landed on him after getting separated in dressrosa and finding out he'd left Zou.
Sanji's quick on his feet when he hears you crying his name, and bursts through your door in seconds to find you sobbing on the bed.
“What's the matter baby?! What happened?!” He asks quickly and runs over to crouch in front of you. Sanji takes your face in his hands and wipes the tears with his thumbs but they just keep on coming.
“Please sweetheart. Are you alright?”Sanji tries again, needing you to calm the pulse in his chest, but you just continue to say his name quietly while looking at him with watery eyes. It didn't seem to him like anyone or anything had hurt you, but maybe that bastard's devil fruit was having another affect on you somehow. Either way, he wanted the tears to stop. He just sits and thinks for a moment before realizing something.
“Is this about your memory? I told you darling, it'll come back somehow so don't worry!-”Sanji tries to reassure you until you abruptly tug him into you, wrapping your arms around his shoulders in a tight hug. Pressing your face into his shoulder, you try to calm yourself so you can tell him the good news, but the tears wouldn't stop flowing. It was as if your body was making up for all the sadness you couldn't fully comprehend this past month. You feel Sanji start to rub your back, probably deciding it's best to wait until you can speak. So you take your time before finally telling him what you really want to say.
“I missed you.” You sigh with relief.

🖤Usopp
Does the same as Luffy for a moment, in the way he tries to run down different events you've all been through together, even tempted to tell you about some of his more embarrassing secrets that only you know, to see if it'll spark something, any of your precious memories together.
For the first couple weeks Usopp's discomfort is definitely the most obvious. The sniper is uncharacteristically quiet, his normal complaints, jokes, and screams basically non-existent. He's prickly, but he can't help it.He tries to control the pained look on his face whenever you ignorantly believe one of his exaggerated stories and turn to ask the crew if you all really did those things, or when he brings up one of the countless adventures you've all been through and you're the only one who can't relate now,but he can't help but deflate along with the entire cheerful atmosphere before dismissing himself. It feels bad for you too because even if it was unintentional you knew you had ruined the mood on the ship.
He knew it couldn't be helped because you don't know any better but that was the problem. You didn't know better because you didn't know him anymore.
So yeah it takes a few weeks before he approaches you ready to start over but he'd help you get to know him all over again a hundred times if it meant not letting your relationship die. Fortunately once he approaches you like he did when you both first met, things progress pretty quickly.
He sticks to you and is like your personal memory translator, all it takes is you looking over at him after hearing someone say something you don't understand, and he's quick to fill in the context for you. Because of this you naturally stick closer to him, just like before all this happened, eventually leading to you spending time with him outside of when he was helping you “regain” your memories, popping into his workshop to say hi, sitting next to him and asking about his new gadgets. Usopp had been trying to give you your space whenever he wasn't filling you in on things, but with you persistently approaching him , technically as a stranger, it's like he falls for you all over again, embarrassingly quickly at that. And the feeling is mutual.
Even if it hurts him when certain inside jokes he reflexively brings up go right over your head,or certain things you two used to do seamlessly end up being a little awkward,he's still really happy that nothing beside your memory has changed. You're still you and you guy's chemistry is still amazing. You click with him again right away, things like your shared humor, pet peeves, and fears making it easy for you to become friends with and develop feelings for him again. You two share your first( since this happened anyway) kiss much sooner than he ever expected.
It’s an energetic day on the Sunny, with everyone chilling on the deck in one way or another. The most noticeable being the boys kicking a ball across the lawn, turning it into a loud and wild game. You've made the mistake of drawing peacefully near their playing area, not remembering that not even 10 feet of space between you and them is enough to keep you safe. So you don't realize you're in the danger zone until it's too late and the ball is already bouncing off the back of your head.
“Oh no! Y/n are you alright?!” You hear Usopp yell, as well as the profanities Sanji is shouting at Luffy. Usopp runs up to you before squatting down, all while you groan and rub your head.
“You okay? He asks you softly while rubbing your back.
“Yeah I'm ok. It's not the first time Luffy's antics have almost killed me.” You grumble with annoyance lacing your voice, and everyone pauses to look at you. Looking around at everyone's wide eyes, you frown.
“What's wrong with you guys?” You ask and again the irritation in your tone catches everyone off guard.
“Uh- it's just that-! Y-you got mad at Luffy just now!” Usopp stutters and your frown deepens because you don't understand why everyone is being so weird. The reason they're so shocked though, is because ever since your memory got erased, you've been walking on eggshells around everybody. You were always speaking to everyone politely, or watching everyone quietly and soaking up information, and most importantly, you always say ‘it's no problem’ when Luffy does something dumb. If you were in your normal grumpy mood right now, it had to mean one thing.
“Quick! Say something only you would know!” Usopp yelps quickly, desperate to confirm what he's thinking as soon as possible, and your crewmates crowd around you as well. You look around at their urgent expressions before scratching your head.
“Um- remember that time you were eating grapes and telling me that story about the platypus? But you got too excited, so you choked on one and it hit me in the forehead? Or that time in your room last month-?!” You run down until Usopp clears his throat loudly, to cut you off.
“O-kay! Y/n's got her memory back!” He announces quickly before tackling you in a hug, and your crewmates start to cheer. You just cradle his head, while the ship erupts into chaos around you.
What did you miss?
***🖤***
🖤Zoro
Zoro doesn't have a big reaction at all. He doesn't follow you around trying to get you to remember him or try to reenact special moments with you, instead he actually avoids you. Spending all his time in the crows nest, rarely coming down even for meals. Anyone that wasn't part of his crew would think that he's being a jerk and not doing enough, but anyone who knows him knows that he's doing this because he can't stand to watch you not remember him.
He can't look at you only to receive a startled jump because he caught you staring. Maybe someone else would find that cute but to Zoro all it does is remind him that you no longer remember just how much he loves when your attention is on him, when he catches your eye. He can't watch you tip toe around him and do your best not to bug him because you don't know Zoro better than he knows himself anymore and instead think he's the cold and grumpy swordsman other people, people he doesn't care about, see him as. He just can't do it.
So he spends all his time in the crow's nest, going over all your guy's precious moments in his head instead. That or he'll sleep and dream of the you he's used to. He'll do this or workout, all day, and he's just fine with that(he's not) that is until you put a wrench in his plans. Just like the before, you seek him out first.
The crew are the ones to tell you just how close you and Zoro are and that you both are lovers, explaining why he seemed to be taking this harder than everyone else. Even after hearing this information though, you don't approach him right away, not knowing if it was right to show your face to him if the sight of you hurt him so much that hid himself away in the crow’s nest. But after a while something in you can't take avoiding him anymore, an ache growing in your belly that resembled the emptiness you feel when you're hungry. You missed him, because even if your mind doesn't remember him, your body and most importantly, your heart, did. So to stop the gnawing pain in your chest, you climb up the ladder, so you and Zoro can confront this obstacle together.
Of Course zoro doesn't want you up there with him, it defeated the entire purpose of running from you in the first place, but all it takes is one plea from you, asking if you can just spend some time together and promising that you don't have to talk or bring up past memories, that you just want to sit up there with him, and his resolve melts away to nothing. It didn't matter if things were different, he'd let you have your way and he won't say no to you, if you missed his company, you'd get it, because he'd never hurt you for the sake of his own feelings.
And that's how you start spending time together again. At first it starts with simply sitting in the crow's nest quietly, watching him workout, or Zoro Napping next to you, just finding comfort and contentment in one another's presence. But before you know it you both start engaging in short conversation, explaining his workout to you, or asking about the magazine you're flipping through, and it's not long before you both start to hang out comfortably. For you anyway, because even if Zoro feels his heart beat a little quicker or a smile threatening to appear on his face at the cute smile you send him before saying goodnight, his heart drops the moment you leave. Because even if this was better, it wasn't the same. He wants to hold you, kiss you, and go to sleep in your arms. He wanted your memories of him back.
When Zoro hears your scream, he's instantly sprinting back towards where he left you. The Strawhats had stopped on an island to see if there were a few things you could find to use as supplies, and you were partnered with him ( to keep him from getting lost of course). Zoro had accidentally drifted away from you for what felt like a second, before he heard you shriek at the top of your lungs.
“What's the matter!? What happened!?” He shouts as he runs up to you, after three previous attempts that is. He finds you standing still and looking up at one of the trees surrounding you both.
“Look!” You gasp and point at the tree, and Zoro follows your finger with his eyes. In the tree is a bird that looked familiar, but he couldn't remember where he's seen it before.
“Ok?” He frowns, confused. When you just look at him with wide eyes and continue to point at it, like you were waiting for him to realize something, he gets frustrated.
“Would you just tell me what the hell is going on?!” Zoro shouts comically, tired of playing charades with you and ready to hear the reason you had his heart racing a hundred miles a minute.
“Look! It looks like one of the South birds from Jaya! I saw it and I immediately thought of the South birds and how they sent those giant bugs after us! Zoro! I've got my memories back!” You ramble on excitedly until you see the skeptical look on his face and pause.
“ Zoro? I just told you my memories have returned.” You frown and Zoro just continues to frown.
“Has it though? You sure Usopp didn't tell you about that story already?” he sighs and scratches his head. It may seem like he was being harsh, but in reality Zoro just didn't want to get his hopes up. He needed more than birds to convince him that his precious memories with you had returned, and you knew that, so you decided to prove it to him.
“Could someone else tell me that you like to get your hair played with when we kiss? Or that your back is your most sensitive spot and running my nails over your shoulder blades makes you-?” You're cut off when Zoro smashes his lips against yours, almost knocking you off your feet. Your eyes get big for a moment, not expecting him to react so quickly, but you easily close them and tilt your head.
“ I thought you'd be embarrassed.” You gasp after you begrudgingly pull away to breathe, not wanting even an inch of space between you both. Obviously Zoro felt the same way, if his dilated pupils and the look in his eye were anything to go by, the intensity in them being enough to make your legs weak. Well it would if he wasn't carrying you above the ground.
“ I don't care about any of that, just kiss me again.” Zoro huffs breathlessly before tugging you into another kiss. He didn't want to talk. He didn't want to tell you how much he missed you, or announce to the crew that you had your memories back. He just wanted to hold you as close as possible, and kiss you until you both forgot that you had ever forgotten him in the first place .
Tumblr media
A/n: I've had this in the wips for SO LONG, it's not even funny. I think it turned out pretty well though, considering the fact that I was SUPER stumped on what to do with Usopp and Zoro's towards the end. Glad I finally finished this and I hope you all liked it. Thanks for reading!🖤🖤🖤

I will forever and always have a special place in my heart for Thriller Bark Zosan, I can not get enough. This fic just fuels the fire! I love the broken cook.
Zosan Post Thriller Bark
Don't exactly know how to do this but I wrote a Zosan thing and want to share.
_______________
Sanji slowly rolls his sleeves back down. It was a marathon to feed everyone after the fight at Thriller Bark but it soothed his heart to be able to provide and nurture his crew and everyone else after such an ordeal.
He walks past the sleeping bodies with their soft smiles and hands over their full stomachs as the last vestiges of the party. As Sanji approaches Zoro, he takes a look at Chopper and Luffy resting nearby. Chopper is splayed next to Zoro's bandaged head, his hoof on Zoro's face and his forehead wrinkled with worry. Luffy has one arm around a big barrel of booze and the other softly grazing Zoro's shoulder as if they were in the middle of sharing a joke.
Sanji places a cigarette in his mouth, lights it, and takes a seat against the wall by Zoro’s feet. His face is down and hidden in the shadows with only the soft glow of his cigarette reflected in the tears gently streaming down his face.
He remembers coming to and seeing Zoro's swords on the ground first. How his chest tightened, thinking the worst. He thinks back to Zoro bowing to the looming figure, begging Kuma to spare Luffy’s life and to take his instead. And how Sanji could barely stand as he tried to place himself between Zoro and Kuma.
Zoro's bloodied, shaking body flashes through his mind. Sanji’s breath catches. He wanted to avoid that so badly. To avoid ever seeing Zoro like that. His hands ball into fists on his knees. It’s because I’m too weak, he thought. So weak it only took Zoro one hit to knock me out. Sanji thinks back to how he grabbed onto Zoro’s shoulder, wanting to say so much but only calling him a jerk before all his energy faded and the world turned black.
Zoro wanted to take Luffy’s place and all of the suffering and pain he had endured. But losing Zoro was worse for Sanji than losing his own life. Sanji wanted to protect his crew, but more than that, he needed to protect Zoro. Sanji was sad to die without being able to say goodbye to everyone, but he got the chance to say goodbye to Zoro and that was all he needed— to know the crew will still have Zoro with them, to know Zoro will live, and to know the last words he ever spoke were for Zoro. But I’m too weak for even that, Sanji thinks again.
Sanji slowly looks at Zoro’s worn body, heart hurting remembering how he looked so close to death. As Sanji’s eyes rests on the swordsman’s face, his whole being aches. Just like before, Sanji wanted to take Zoro’s place. To know even if he was dead or dying, Zoro will live on and be the happy, drunk idiot he loves.
Sanji resolves to become stronger and never let something like this happen ever again. He will be strong enough to protect Zoro, strong enough even to knock Zoro out before the stupid moss head can offer his own life. Or better yet, strong enough to make sure the future Sanji dreamed for them will become a reality.
Sanji resists the urge to grab Zoro’s hand and instead wipes the tears from his face. He takes a deep breath and leans back on the wall. I will get stronger, Sanji declares to himself. He closes his eyes and takes another deep breath, his hands softening by his side with the surety of his promise. He finds reprieve with his resolve to prevent anything like this from happening the next time and relief knowing he got Zoro to Chopper quickly enough this time. Zoro will live.
Sanji exhales a puff of smoke as the last of his cigarette burns through. In barely a whisper, Sanji murmurs "stupid moss head..." and falls asleep dreaming of a future in the All Blue with a bumbling green haired kid running around Zoro and him.

Don't forget about the Palestinians.
Don't forget about them now.
Don't forget about them tomorrow.
Don't forget about them in a week from now.
Don't forget about them in a month.
Don't forget them next year.
Don't forget them in 5 years.
When the history books start to update, don't let them put lies in there.
When documentaries come out, boycott the ones who call this a victory for Israel.
When books release talking about soldier's personal experiences with Palestine, remember the victims. Remember the truth.
Don't forget about what we've seen.
Don't forget about what we've heard.
Don't let them tell lies about Palestine.
Don't forget about the Palestinians when the world tries to make this go away.
