They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.

You know, this is why content creators end up abandoning their works, right?

80 likes compared to 10 reblogs means that only 12% of people decided that what you did is worth showing other people.

If you like the thing, reblog it. You don’t even have to add tags, just spread it so that a) other people can see it, and b) the creator gets recognition for what they did.

Obviously, those numbers are never going to match, but the divide should not be that huge.

It’s even more important right now, because tumblr is garbage and they’ve stopped allowing anything with an outside link from appearing in tags. Writers/artists cannot tag things to their twitter/store/writing website. That can cause a significant drop in views, especially for newer creators.

Like… we aren’t asking for much. A few reblogs. Reviews/comments. No creator should have to beg for that much.

Oct. 17th: Is there a phrase that one of your parents or friend says all the time? Take it and imagine it’s the name of a children’s book. What would that children’s book cover look like?

A family thing we do is whenever someone says "C'est la vie", we take it as "Say la vie" so it you respond with "la vie" and the originator respond with either "en rose" or "bohéme" which reference either "La Vie en Rose" (best sung by Louis Armstrong because he gets that gritty sexual sound) or "La Vie Bohéme" from Rent.

It's as my grandma always says, "If you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait."

In case you couldn't guess, I live in Texas. One day can have a temperature range of 30+ degrees. It could literally go from 100 degrees to tornado to hail within 24 hours. So... a little story book about weather!
