My Hair is Bad | 化粧 (keshou; Makeup) Lyrics English Translation

–one of my favourite songs from My Hair is Bad’s newest album, boys. Shiiki’s lyrics never fail to impress me and what I especially like about this song is that it’s told from a girl’s perspective and Shiiki being able to portray the details so delicately in his lyrics is just…wow. This song reminded a lot about Makka (真赤), another of my favourites from this band (translated here). Another song which I can draw parallels with is Uwaki no Tonari de (浮気のとなりで), another track from the same album.
