The Shining table took a few months of work start to finish. Possibly a little more, because I did a version based off another old table design that ended up having a bunch of bugs in it so I had to scrap it and start from scratch on the other table I ultimately used which was "Sorcerer"

Since I'm not adept at building tables from the ground up I have to seek out existing tables to base my MODs on.

Sometimes the table I use presents itself almost immediately and other times I really have to hunt for it.

As much as I'd love to produce Virtual Pinball tables for a living, it's really just a hobby and the community of Visual Pinball players expect that everything shared be shared for free. So I tend to pass on any offers to design tables for money. My day to day job is working in video game production, so I really look at the Pinball designs as an outlet to do whatever the hell I want without someone telling me to do this or that.

I hope this doesn't sound egotistical or pretentious. Essentially: my day to day job is people telling me what to do, so I tend to like working on things in my own bubble and then share them. If people like it - great, if not no sweat it's something I wanted to play around with and I had fun building it.

That's probably the longest answer to "thanks, but no thanks"😛

At any rate I do appreciate you reaching out and saying you like the Shining table. Best of luck with whatever your table project might be!

“Transformers Marcade Mod” My Art and Design mod table of the Stern TF Movie table. Pulling it back into a G1 retro cartoon look from the 80′s Making good progress on it. Soon it will be available to download and play for free at VPForums.org PS - I know everything surrounding VP is open source and free to share, and I wouldn’t dream of changing that aspect. But if you like my MOD designs and want to show me some type of appreciation check out my TeePublic site and consider purchasing a T-shirt or Mug or something. Most of the designs are 80s related throwbacks to games or cartoons. TeePublic has regular sales during holidays so you might wait for the sale price to pop up. I don’t make very much money off the sales (typically 2-4 bucks depending on the item) but every little bit helps me out as I look for my next employment.
