When I went to America last summer to work at a summer camp, I got really depressed, homesick, overworked and lost my voice. What’s wild about the episode of House where he disproves a couples asexuality is not just that he does that, it’s that he does it as part of a bet with Wilson AND it’s a side plot. Like this is just something House is doing on the side and not the twist ending of the episode. I feel like it’s offensive enough to at least be the main story line of an episode.

When I first watched Avatar the Last Airbender, all the way through I thought I hadn't seen any of it before because I never had access to the channel it aired on. That was until I got to the season 1 finale, and I realised I had, in fact, seen that one episode just in Irish as it was the only kids program I could find when I was in Belfast in like 2008. I had no idea what the show was called and was deeply crushed that I couldn't watch more despite not understanding a word of Irish.

I finished watching House M.D., and my housemates seemed genuinely concerned for my sanity.
