one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

most of the talk on this website about Game Changer is how Sam Reich psychologically tortures his contestants, but I want to make it clear to the uninitiated that he's actually extremely ethical about it
He sends out a company wide email and asks them to choose episodes based on a chili pepper rating system
meaning he doesn't put 🌶️🌶️ people into 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ episodes
they're also big on consent ie cast and crew have to be okay with it before they'll do nudity or something like that in an episode
it's like the bdsm of psychological torture. safe, sane, and consensual.
the contestants know what they're getting into, and they're full down

I finally (got help) slapping Wordpress into shape and Runaway to the Stars is now releasing as a public webcomic! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story! It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule.
If you experience bugs with the site report them to me. Some things may occasionally break, as coding problems tend to be a very "whack-a-mole" affair; and I'm still getting used to the interface.

A wand of bones is a mostly useless magical item.
When a humanoid creature points a wand of bones at another humanoid creature, it causes the skeletons of both creatures to be instantly swapped. Thus, if a human points the wand at a halfling, the human’s bones will inhabit the flesh of the halfling, and vice versa.
The drawbacks of this should be apparent; that is, that the flesh of the halfling would be instantly and violently torn asunder as it suddenly found more bones inside itself than it could accommodate, while three pounds of human brain would find itself inside a skull the size of a grapefruit.
So a wand of bones is a mostly useless magical item.
Unless all that you are is bone.
And that’s why in the caverns and dungeons, in the bowels of the world where monsters crawl, a wand of bones is a highly prized item in the osseous hands of a living skeleton. Waiting for foolhardy adventurers, and the chance to once again feel the sun on their skin…
Well, on somebody’s skin, anyways.

my 8 year old has some emotional regulation difficulties, and I've done my best to help him with those.
unrelated, I gave him a shovel a couple of days ago and told him to go have fun in the field because I was tired.
He suddenly seemed happier, having less trouble breathing through disappointment and just being generally all around more cheerful and able to focus in school better. Sure, my partner had to pull him out of a six foot by three foot hole today, but he was stoked about it!
