Welcome

Hi there, welcome!

This blog is a tribute to Sheridan and Luis (aka Shuis), a classic super couple from the wacky soap opera called Passions. It ran from 1999 to 2008, and unfortunately Shuis were not endgame. Yet there’s no denying that the entire legacy of Passions is based on mostly two super couples, one of them being Shuis (the other one Ethan and Theresa).

Therefore I believe that Shuis deserves to be remembered, not for what didn’t happen, but for all the things that did. For a very long time, I was afraid of re-watching their scenes on YouTube, as I had the irrational fear that reality wouldn’t live up to my memories. It turned out to be the exact opposite, and that my memories of them couldn’t even compare to the effortless chemistry that was on screen.

And yet this blog isn’t only dedicated to the ship itself, but to the people I interacted with and befriended during my time in the fandom (2002-2008). I made friends with people from all over the globe and they had an impact on the person I grew up to be (I joined the fandom at the ripe age of 12). I still remember just about all of you, so don’t hesitate to throw me a line if you remember me from a message board.

I hope to post some of my own (veeeery old graphics), as well as screen caps, scans and links to fanvids and fics. If you’d like to contribute anything at all, even if it’s a personal account of what you loved the most about Shuis, feel free to send it in.
