I just looked up from wolfing down my own pizza to see my 10 year old daughter holding a piece of her pizza in each hand, alternating which one she’s biting from.

She’s totally my kid.

June is Pride Month. @a-dinosaur-a-day has started a Pride celebration project with dinosaurs depicted with the colors of the many flags of the LGBTQ community. I felt inspired and so decided to contribute to this noble cause.

So here’s my pansexual Panphagia. Yes, the pun is intentional and I am not ashamed ! XD

Panphagia was a basal sauropodomorph, superficially looking like a bigger Eoraptor. Its name comes from the fact its dentition points towards an omnivorous diet.

Note that the pansexual flag doesn’t have green on it. The green parts on my drawing are an artefact of Photoshop.

Be proud and love the ones you like ! And don’t forget dinosaurs ! Dinosaurs are cool. ;)

My daughter is watching My Little Pony. I really identify with Twilight Sparkle’s absolute meltdown about grades. I think it’s in episode one of season two? Anyway, way to depict an anxiety disorder.

When I say that today was a bad anxiety day, I mean that I was a socially awkward piece of trash that says dumb shit that will one day get me in trouble. Today it landed me in the bathroom during my lunch break crying with chest pains. Also, today I have things that I can lose, which means every little dumb wrong is labelled by my brain as potential firing offenses. It will take every bit of willpower I have to continue getting up and being social until this anxious cloud passes, but I know that I’ll do it. Anxiety is just that ugly room mate in my head that tells me I’m shit when I’m not. Fuck you, anxiety. Fuck you, socially inept brain.

If I ever become a history teacher, I’m going to write “gullible” on the ceiling. Then in the middle of class, I’ll announce, “There’s ‘gullible’ written on the ceiling.” After the whole look vs. not look shenanigan occurs, I shall then slam my books on my desk, prop myself up, lean forward and say, “Welcome to history. Your first lesson? Check your facts for yourself.”

Amanita is the best. I think it was the plot with her in it that kept my husband and I watching this series. I hope season two has a lot of her.
