The Pale King and White Lady had tried many times to have children of their own. Every egg they had was doomed to die. It was determined that WL was unable to have a healthy child that would live past hatching. PK, lost in his grief, had buried himself in his studies of the Void. It was in that work that he found a solution.

PK had his first, and only, encounter with the Shade Lord. How he had found them or even discovered their existence is a tightly guarded secret. All that matters to him is that a deal was struck, and the Shade Lord gave the power of the Void to the few eggs the royals had left. While this made them all hatch at different times, depending on the severity of their condition, there was no denying that the Void had a positive effect on the children's health and safety.

As one would imagine, Radiance was not pleased with the actions that PK took. However, she does not scorn him or his children. He was desperate and the children could not control the circumstances of their birth.

PK was only able to have one child not born of the void, and that was Hornet.

Ooooo boy I left this unanswered for F A R too long. But since I've made my return to this blog I can answer it now! I'm very sorry for how long its been.

Void, as a force or material, is still very much present. In fact, the only ones who know of it are the royal siblings. The Pale King works to study and understand it, much to Radiance's dismay. Grimm could care less for whatever it is.

The Shade Lord themself however, is still a very prominent entity in this world. They had an interesting role to play surrounding the creation of the siblings.

So... its been a while since I posted on here. To be honest, I had lost interest in this au and real life hit hard for a while. However I recently remembered this blog and the ideas I had for the au so I’m back to answer questions and hopefully post more art! So please, ask as much as you’d like to know! Grimm and PK are not overly fond of sweets. Radiance, on the other hand, loves sweet things. She often snacks on the honey that they occasionally receive as gifts from the bees.

PK seems like the most chaotic sibling to me for some reason, like, PK is just doing all these things and making his siblings question his well-being, sanity and maturity

Oh that is completely the case. PK is the most chaotic sibling by far. Grimm thinks it's a Wyrm thing, while Radiance is sure it's because he grew up in Kindgom's Edge (mostly around Primal Aspids).

Either way, his family worries for him.

Monomon is the most intelligent and wisest ally to the royal family. She is as kind as she is wise, always there to assist others when they need it. She will happily share her knowledge with those around her, especially to the ever so curious Radiance.

Quirrel and Monomon run the Teacher's Archives together, storing information from all across the kingdom and running occasional tests or experiments. Monomon has many connections with various bugs around Hollownest, which is how she gathers her information and gets materials for her experiments. Her most notable connections are Radiance, the Soul Master, and the Mantis Lords.

Lurien is one of the most patient and mysterious allies to the royal family, spending his days in the top of the Watcher's Spire. In public he is quiet, reserved, and never shows what's underneath his cloak. In reality, he is somewhat of a loud mouthed gossiper. He is always speaking with his butler or the knights who guard his tower on the latest news or rumor. Often he will even pull harmless pranks, watching the aftermath from his telescipe.

Grimm is rather fond of him, the two of them being great friends. It is not uncommon for Grimm to visit the Spire to have a chat or to bring Lurien new gossip to spread. Both enjoy being treated as equals, and are sure to treat Lurien's loyal butler the same way.

I couldn't exactly leave the siblings or Grimmchild out of this AU, so I had to draw them. While the Pale King's children that he had with the White Lady are still infused with void, they are still treated as living beings rather than tools.

We of course have Ghost, Hollow, Hornet, and Grimmchild, along with the Kin, Vine, and Nest.

So once again my current hyperfixation is Hollow Knight, so here we are! This is a small little AU idea I slowly built together and am now creating into a proper thing I guess. This blog is designed for posting info on the Sibling Gods AU, answering some questions anyone has, and even having characters answer questions or requests directly.
