sanders sides was my special interest and I've memorised so much of the videos it's not even funny.

“The other [scene that stands out above the rest] involved a handsome man, asking a dancing couple if he could cut in. The female partner, expecting his attention, agrees, only to see him dance with her male partner. Jolson then flaps his wrist and says, “Boys will be boys. Woo!”. This scene almost caused the Production Code to reject the film, and was featured in the opening scenes of the documentary film The Celluloid Closet (1996).”
It sucks that the sides can't touch often since they're played by the same guy, because I'm pretty sure 99% of the tension in the show could be solved through either intense makeouts or beating the shit out of each other. Alas.
Did your special interest switch recently and that's why you're on hiatus because if so same :(
mhm! I still like Thomas but not enough to keep up a whole blog, I think. this blog is probably on a permanent hiatus, I just haven't gotten around to saying as much. it's unfortunate, because this is one of the best SpIns I've ever had, but that is the nature of being neurodivergent, I suppose.
Summary: Parker wants to teach her boys safe suspension practise. Eliot has some qualms about this.
A/N: This is my first fic for this fandom and the first fic I’ve written in months. But I really love them (almost as much as they love each other), so I hope you enjoy.

The light shined off the black ropes as she slid down from the ceiling, stopping herself inches from the floor. There was a sort of poetry held in her—the contrast between her fluid movements and her blunt words—not that Eliot would ever claim to have thought about that kind of thing.
“This is stupid,” he commented in a way that made him sound angrier than he really was; he was always happy to see them, “You know this is stupid, right?”
Parker grinned, unhooked her harness in an instant. “We won’t let you fall.”
He could hear the sound of Hardison in the bedroom, rifling through Parker’s equipment to find some piece of rigging that she needed. Eliot sort of wished he was here, if only so he had some back-up in his resistance; Hardison hadn’t been thrilled by the idea either.
That, of course, wasn’t the only reason he wished Hardison was here right now. He at least had a better sense of boundaries.
“That ain’t exactly what I’m worried about, Parker.”
Ive seen alot of posts being very adamant that reblogs matter more than likes, and heres my extra take on that, because Reblogs Really Fucking Matter on here.
Yknow how likes dont mean much on here? Having followers is surprisingly in a similar boat. Sure, the more followers you have the more people initially see it, sure. But like. If most of your followers arent reblogging it to let the people that follow them see and reblog it, ect, it doesnt really change the game much.
So please. Reblog creators work. Thats literally the best way to support creators on this website outside of paying them for what they do.
