nether flora, specifically from warped and crimson forests

crimson forests pulse with life.

the inside of hyphae trickle and swirl with red "sap", never dripping outside of the boundaries of its bark. it pulses gently and is hot to the touch. if you watch a weeping vine for seemingly any amount of time, you'd be able to watch it grow and sag lower and lower to the ground before you. crimson roots feel as though they curl around your ankles as you walk through them.

crimson forests are strange, but warped forests are far stranger. warped forests mirror crimson forests, but corrupt the latter's flora in every aspect. hyphae twisted until the bark shatters into splinters, the inside gooey and glowing and barely holding itself together. weeping vines reverse and become twisted in bundles, sprung up from the ground. everything is painted by a thin film of gelatinous slime. the flora here is quite literally warped.
