A SHOCK TO THE SYSTEM
aaaand their darling, sliightly overdesigned murdersoulmate has joined em in equestria! break.exe, aka system shock!
formerly a copy of the same program, defected and lost its horn (and uhh. face) in the divorce. can create shockingly destructive bursts of magic, hitting tech especially hard, but lost the vast majority of its hologram psuedo-magic.
more closely tied to the physical world (and perhaps some specific ponies in it), though it's still a malfunctioning hologram. they may be abrasive and violent, but they are ultimately someone willing to fight like hell for the ponies and causes they care about. and hey, nothing's getting "tainted" by a personal vendetta if it gets them to the same goal, right? right.
as with the original, gets glitchier and messier with strong emotions or codefuckery.

turned vexter into a pony because. funny.
artificial hologram pony created to help with various tasks in a futuristic version of the setting. in classic mlp fashion, they ended up gaining both immense power and a severely fucked up view of how love and friendship work, in their case hinging on the idea that they have to be constantly needed by everyone. probably ends up 'reformed' in this version lmao
didn't get its cutie mark the normal way due to not really being a pony. keeps a pop-up window there to meet expectations, though more tend to appear when it's distracted, overwhelmed, or having its code messed with.
may or may not be able to mess with its appearance, though they present as a unicorn by default to make their digital/holographic tricks look like regular magic.

I don't know enough about the personalities of well-known creators so I'll go with the funny answer that it has several fellow scientists who he's sorta buddies with or find admirable but think their theories and work suck shit, as well as several people she absolutely loathes but will also read every paper they publish.

Chaos, hedonism, and unrestrained sketchy experimentation! It wants to look at cool bugs and creatures and study cool bugs and creatures and create cool bugs and creatures and nothing else matters!
In truth, it really would like to be taken more seriously by the scientific community, and hasn't admitted even to herself that maybe he might be happier if he wasn't constantly hiding in their weird lab out in the middle of nowhere.
