On the edge of town - Most of these images were taken over a period of two or three years; they were a way for me to try and capture the passage of times, its effects on familiar places, and to explore the reasons why I kept returning to those same places where I grew up. While I still don't have the answer to this question, I'm glad I began this series: so many of those vignettes have disappeared — either destroyed or rusted away — since I first started this project.
