I'll argue that Andy and Kyle managed to avoid that. But I can't tell if it's just the actors putting a lot in, genuinely decent writing, or just them not having enough screentime to be screwed over. Also Glen and Glenda were done pretty well up until 2x8.

I’m gonna be real as much I like the trio, I want fucking Andy and Kyle back alongside Nica being an actual character not some piece to remind fans ooh this why Tiffany’s evil or to Andy’s lucky. Have them come back and be actual characters not some side pieces that are just meant to motivate the trio or be tortured for shock value. Swear if Lexy’s killed off, I’m not watching the show on the condition that Andy and Kyle return as well as Nica being an actual character not a side prop or back to being Don’s whipping girl.

Also, only Mixter said him possessing humans was a bad idea, and the only reason Nica didn't work out was because of Tiffany. So far Chucky has just expressed disinterest in solely being human. He doesn't seem to have issues with having both.

I don't know if Chucky has realized that possessing Andy is a fate worse than death for him. He mentions it as such in Cult of Chucky and in the original script for Child's Play. I think Andy is just banking on the fact Chucky seems to have forgotten that.
