Spring Semester - Twist of Fate (Part 4)
[Malaysia Narrating]
Five days had passed, and I was feeling defeated. The thought of leaving Oasis Springs without Benny was unbearable. It seemed my only option was to seek legal counsel. I booked a flight to Willow Creek, hoping Trinity could help me. As I packed, an unexpected notification from Simstagram popped up.
"I'm sorry for his behavior; it is not right, and I have made that clear to him. Pharaoh will be gone for nine days playing away games starting in the morning. If you are still in town, I can bring Benjamin to you. Just let me know, and we can set it up. I'll deal with Pharaoh's wrath later." — Lyla
Her willingness to go against Pharaoh surprised me and I was truly grateful. As soon as I held my baby again, I knew I’d never let him go.
Last week, Pharaoh officially filed for custody. I was filled with so many emotions from sadness to anger to nervousness, but also relief. Legal action is our only option at this point. When all is said and done, there will be no more threats, no more fear, just peace. I hope.

Spring Semester - Twist of Fate (Part 3)
[Malaysia Narrating]
The next morning, we sat outside Pharaoh's house, waiting for someone to open the door. My plan was simple: rush inside. But it didn’t happen that way.
A car pulled away from the house, leaving us waiting. When it returned, I told Andrei and Jaxan to stay put while I confronted Pharaoh. Our argument got heated, and I grabbed his keys, running toward the door. He tripped me, and I fell to the ground.
Andrei and Jaxan, thinking I was attacked, rushed towards Pharaoh. I picked myself up, yelling for them to stop; I didn't want violence. Pharaoh ran inside, and we regrouped on the sidewalk. But Pharaoh couldn't resist taunting us from his yard.
The police showed up again, and in the heat of the moment, they handcuffed an outraged Andrei. I regretted dragging him into this mess immediately. After Drei calmed down, they let us go. Back at the hotel, I convinced Andrei and Jaxan to go home. They resisted at first but eventually agreed. Their futures were not worth risking for my troubles.

Spring Semester - Twist of Fate (Part 2)
[Malaysia Narrating]
Desperate, I resorted to banging and kicking on his door. The police turned up, yet their hands were tied; they couldn't help. They warned me to leave, or I'd be arrested. Overwhelmed, I went back to my hotel and called for backup. Usually, I handled Pharaoh alone, but this time, I needed help. Andrei and Jaxan arrived by the end of the night.

Spring Semester - Twist of Fate (Pt 1)
A couple weeks later...
[Malaysia Narrating]
Life had finally gotten back to normal. Jess and the girls patched things up, and even Pharaoh seemed to have chilled out. But I should've known it was just a facade.
Pharaoh always threw a joint birthday party for Benjamin and his half-sister, despite their birthdays being months apart. I had planned to stay in town just for the night and leave the next morning with my son. But when I went to pick him up, Pharaoh says, "He's not going anywhere."

Spring Semester- Unspoken Bonds (Part 3)
Jessica: (voice breaking) I'm pregnant, Lay. And I don't know what to do. Bryson’s… he's excited about it. But he’s wanting to get married and us to move in together immediately. I've been avoiding everyone because I'm terrified, I’m confused, I’m exhausted.
Jessica explained that she and Bryson are having friction now. He's upset that she's choosing to finish the school year instead of leaving with him. He's given Jessica until the end of the semester to be married and move in with him. She has more than herself to think about in this decision. There would also be an impact on Gia's life. Which complicates things even more.
Malaysia: (softly) Jess, you don’t have to figure this out alone. I got you. We got you. We'll support you no matter what. And maybe… just maybe, we can both find a way to fix our problems together. Jessica: (nods in agreement)
While their problems hung in the background, they shared a laugh during the rest of the show. Malaysia had no idea what her friend was wrestling with. But she completely understands what it feels like to be pulled in multiple directions and forced to make a difficult decision. She's going to be here for her through the whole process and knows Jess will be here for her too.

Spring Semester- Unspoken Bonds (Part 2)
Malaysia: (leaning back) I get it. Life isn't always sunshine and rainbows. But secrets? They eat away at you. Trust me, I know. Jessica: What do you mean? Malaysia: (takes a deep breath) Well, me and Pharaoh got into it and he threatening to take Benny from me. Jessica: (shaking head) Wow. Do you think he’s serious? Are you okay? Malaysia: That’s the thing. I don’t know. Pharaoh likes to play games and the not knowing is killing me. Benny wants to see him. But I'm scared, Jess. Scared he won’t give him back after a weekend.
Malaysia went on and on about how Pharoah's constant harassment has been affecting her mental health. She doesn't know how to handle it and doesn't want to burden Trinity with her problems.
Jessica: (softly) Malaysia, I— Malaysia: (interrupting) No, let me finish. I've been dealing with this for the most part alone. But you… you're my friend. Maybe if I open up, you'll feel safe enough to share your secret too. Jessica: Malaysia, I— Malaysia: Jess, whatever it is, we'll face it together. You're not alone.

Spring Semester - Unspoken Bonds (Part 1)
Jessica invited Malaysia down to watch the premiere of one of their favorite reality shows. Everything was great, but there was an elephant in the room and Malaysia had to address it.
Malaysia: Jess, can we talk? Jessica: About what? Malaysia: You know what. You've been distant lately. From all of us. Even when you're here physically, your mind is somewhere else. Jessica: (sighs) Malaysia, it's complicated. Malaysia: We're friends, Jess. You can tell me anything. We've been through so much together. Jessica: Yeah, well, some things are harder to share than others.

Wait
On Campus
[Malaysia Narrating]
Weeks have passed since the spring semester started, and I haven't seen Maurice at all. He hasn't been in the dining hall, study hall, or anywhere else. I knew he was purposely avoiding me once I found out he transferred from the classes we had together.
Malaysia: Maurice, wait! I've been trying to reach you for weeks. Where have you been? Maurice: I've been busy. What do you want? Malaysia: Why the hostility? I just tryna to talk to you. I wanted to see if you were okay and apologize again for what happened with Andrei. He had no right to do that to you. He's just...he's just... Maurice: He's just what? You know what, it doesn’t matter. I’m not willing to risk my safety or anything for whatever this was between us. I really liked you, Malaysia but it’s obvious you weren’t being completely honest with me. Malaysia: No, no, I just... I just. I’m sorry. Everything got complicated so fast…I didn’t wanna hurt anybody's feelings. Maurice: Here I am thinking I finally got a shot at the girl of my dreams only to learn I was a placeholder. Malaysia: Maurice, please. Don't say that. You know I care about you. You know I like you. Maurice: But not enough to choose me over him, right? Malaysia: I’m sorry. Maurice: *nodding* Bye, Malaysia.
Malaysia didn't have much to say. She knew he was hurt and felt awful. If she had ended it months ago before feelings got too involved, maybe it would have been better. Although she was a little relieved that she no longer had to worry about who to date or keep secrets, she was still a little stressed out.

The National Championship - Frustration
Malaysia held him as he poured out his frustration and disappointment.
Andrei: I just wish we won, Lay.  Malaysia: I know, Drei. I know, but look at it this way, you played your ass off and showed everybody just how much of an amazing player you are. Unfortunately, the scoreboard didn’t match up to your efforts. It happens. Andrei: *nods* It would’ve just been good to end my college career with a national championship.  Malaysia: So, that means you made up your mind on going pro? Andrei: I don’t know now, babe. I got a lot to think about.
The hours slipped away, and eventually, midnight was approaching.

The National Championship - Exhausted
The buses awaited the team outside the stadium. Andrei climbed aboard, exhausted. His phone buzzed constantly with messages. He finally managed to reply, telling everyone that he was okay.
Back at the hotel, Coach Bautista set a strict 12am curfew. But Andrei couldn't sit in his room listening to his roommate’s complaints. He called Malaysia, and they met in the lobby. She held him in a tight hug and whispered....
I'm sorry, but I'm so damn proud of you, Drei.
They left to her hotel room, where they could spend a few hours together before Drei’s curfew.

The National Championship - Defeat
Andrei and his teammates jogged off the field, their heads hanging low. Some cried, others cursed in frustration. They shook hands with the winners, their hearts broken with defeat. In the locker room, there was complete silence.
Malaysia and Andrei's family waited in the stands, trying to reach him. But the chaos of the post-game made that impossible. Frustrated and worried, they eventually gave up and headed back to their hotels.

The National Championship - Nail-Biter (Part 2)
With seconds left on the clock, the opponents intercepted a desperate pass. The stadium held its breath as their kicker lined up for the field goal. The ball sailed through the uprights, and the UBRITE Dragons' dreams shattered. The scoreboard read: Opponents 26, UBRITE Dragons 23.

The National Championship - Nail-Biter (Part 1)
The game had been a nail-biter from the start. The score stayed close, neither team willing to give an inch. Andrei's team held the lead for most of the game, but mistakes on the defensive side allowed their opponents to tie the game.

The National Championship - San Myshuno
Malaysia's flight arrived an hour ago. She checked into her hotel, talked to Andrei, and then started to tour the city. She was enjoying herself by sampling foods and exploring the Spice Market and Art Quater. Unfortunately, it started drizzling, which dampened her mood as well as her clothes.
She rented a scooter to make it back to her hotel in time to get ready then meet up with Andrei's family at the stadium.
[Malaysia Narrating]
This city is so beautiful. I love the Art Quater. I could see myself living here if I could figure out the train system haha. I was so confused tryna get from the airport to my hotel.
I talked to Drei as soon as I landed. He was already at the stadium doing drills, and warmups. He sounded nervous and excited at the same time. I gave him some words of encouragement and told him that I loved him. I hope that helped ease any doubts he might have had.
