Happy Stairways set

This new set is all about the space under the staircase ! With this new pack, you'll get two new staircases (one with pattern, and one without but with multiple painted colors or natural wood swatches), assorted railing and fences, and a modular shelving system that will go under. You can use both sides as standalone or against the wall, it will work however you place them. Along with it, multiple clutter to fill the shelves or the walls, among with new wallpaper and painted color walls. Everything to make a bright and cheerful staircase area !

Description

This set includes 24 new items, maxismatch, lowpoly & basegame compatible.

Build: Two stairs (one with natural woods and sisal carpeted pattern and one with natural sial but 26 color swatches), a railing and an assorted fence.

Wall: Seamless wallpaper with assorted painted wall.

Furnitures: 5 modular shelves, stackable to build the perfect understair.

Lighting: Ceramic wall light

Decor: Muddy adult and kid boots, umbrellas in wicker basket, sisal baskets, books (left & right), assorted sisal pattern rug, wall frames, potteries decoration

Plants: A hanging plant, a small fern and a flower vase bouquet.

❗Note: due to the shaders being different, the shelves and the stairs/railing will not be the EXACT same color depending on the swatch/hour of the day. I tried my best to fit them the closest I could... 😌

Hi!

As my first Made in Brazil item, I’m bringing more traditional Brazilian objects to the game, but this time I may have started a new collection. In the future I’ll talk more about Casa Caipira.

Brazilian Churrasco

We usually have a lot of barbecues in Brazil, all year round. It’s our Sunday lunch with the family or our high school graduation party. We don’t have a prom, we have a Churrasco. (just kidding, in some places there is a prom… but the next day there is a barbecue 😂).

It is a dream for many of us to have a space dedicated to this in our homes or apartments. Usually, in the more expensive apartments, there is a grill built into the balcony.

But this area isn’t just about the grill (and the party). When we have more space, we also build a wood-burning stove and a wood-burning oven. Both are used to cook foods that take longer to cook, so it isn’t something people use a lot. Except for my grandma (who turns 90 this week). She cooks Doce de Leite (Dulce de Leiche) on a concrete red wood-burning stove similar to the one in this set and my biggest inspo.

About the items

There are 10 items in this set.

Wood-burning stove (left and right side - 16 swatches);

Oven (needs DHD - 16 swatches - can be combined with the wood-burning stove using moo);

Two built-in grills, a trapezoidal top one and a flat top one (16 swatches)

Countertop grill (4 swatches);

4 ducts, 3 metal and one to extend the flat top grill (4 metal swatches; 16 plaster swatches)

There are wall deco slots on the oven and on the builtin grills (yes, we decorate our grills on Christmas)

The ducts use the small decor slots, sometimes your sims will serve the food on it. I’m investigating a way to prevent this.

The challenge

Almost all items needed to be modded at this set. From small changes to big changes. It was a very time-demanding set. An example is the countertop grill, as there isn’t any grill with glass on the game, I had to reconstruct the model resource to add this with all material states that a grill has.

There were some frustrations though. I tried a lot, really, a lot, to add the burning wood effect to the stove but all effects that you see when a sim is cooking are attached with a recipe (thanks Ravasheen to tell me this). It would be crazy to edit each one just for one object. So I tried a different approach combining the fireplace with a stove but I had a lot of bugs that I still don’t have the experience to fix. So, no wood-burning effect for the stove. By now.

Tiles!

Hi!!!! This set is all about tiles. I tried to create more versatile items from the beginning, holding myself not to making too crazy objects, because clearly, these tile furniture aren’t easy to use. If you want to see more unusual objects using tiles, comment, and I may do a part 02 in the future.

About the set:

- There are 22 items in total + 2 wallpapers and 2 floors; - There is a new counter + counter island + matching sink; - All items are base game compatible; - Most of the items are modular and can be easily combined using move objects to create architecture details; - On the catalog, some items were very similar so I changed the default swatches to help identify them. The green ones are coffee tables, and the beige ones are benches; Best Search Terms:

Surprise Surprise :),

I never shared something throughout the month, but I procrastinated on this idea and didn't manage to create it for either Soho Part 3 or the book lounge. And believe me, it will not fit into next month's content either, so I decided to work on a little Shopfront set and would like to share it with you now.

The Prada Store in Soho across from Mercer Hotel inspired the windows, doors, and friese. This set has 24 items, six doors, nine modular trim pieces, and nine modular Shop Windows. There are items for all three wall heights, and they come in my usual color palette. I recommend using the move objects cheat and quarter tile placement for the most flexibility.

Finally, the Soho Exterior is complete. Items for the ground floor were always missing when I tried to build something :D
