It didn’t take long for Lorelei, the Doctor and the machine to do their work and soon the baby had been delivered.

Lorelei embraced their new little one and Tobias couldn’t help but watch with his heart bursting with emotion.

“Well done my love. You did so well!” He whispered to her and held her in his arms.

At the hospital, Lorelei was admitted and sent to the baby extraction machine. Tobias was a little concerned at the sight of this huge scary contraption.

The Doctor tried to calm him. “It’s perfectly safe Mr Bird. This machine and I have delivered more babies than we can count!”

“But... but!”

“It’s okay Tobias. You’ve got this.” Lorelei chuckled softly, repeating his previous words.

Tobias had been doing some yoga for about 40 minutes when Lorelai suddenly threw the lights and started yelling.

“The baby! I think he’s coming!”

Tobias started to panic. Oh no, what should he do? What should he do!?

Lorelei dropped to the floor, holding onto the side table to support. “He’s close babe. We need to go!” She panted frantically.

“Okay baby, you got this”

The outing had taken it out of Lorelei, and as soon as they got back she collapsed on the couch while Tobias fed Audrey. Not long after she awoke with a sore back, so Tobias offered her a back rub which helped. Still exhausted she headed straight to bed while he went onto the balcony to do some bedtime yoga.

Tobias had just started getting his jam on when a huge cyclone suddenly hit the island. The two of them swiftly ran to the nearby bar to seek shelter, though Lorelei had some umbrella issues on the way.

Once at the bar, Lorelei announced that she was famished and needed food, so Tobias ordered a meat and cheese platter and she quickly vacuumed through two plates!

The two of them spent the following morning snuggled up on the couch watching a scifi movie. When it was finished they saw that the Flowers & Music Festival had started over on the main island, so they headed out and got their boogie on!

“You know the ultrasound is this afternoon... are you ready?” “Absolutely! I can’t wait to meet the little tyke!”

The two headed off to the appointment off with hearts full of excitement and anticipation.

When they returned later they hung the scan proudly on the nursery wall... they’re having a boy!

The following day to celebrate Nectarfest, the two of them relaxed out by the garden with a glass of lemonade each (seeing as Lorelei wasn’t able to drink nectar and Tobias didn’t want to do so without her.)

After half an hour or so, Lorelei jumped up and told Tobias to come over.

“I felt a kick! Come feel!”

Tobias popped his hands on her belly and felt movement too.

“Woah that’s so freaky! Awesome!”

“Actually I do. I was thinking that if we have a boy, we could name him Lewai? The Chieftain was so good to me and we became such good friends, I’d really like to honor him.”
