Hello Simmers, the moment is finally here. This is the first official release of my The Sims (2000) to Sims 3 world.

Revisit all lots and neighborhoods from The Sims base game, Hot Date, Unleashed and Superstar in an open-world experience in the Sims 3!

Let’s get to the good part. You can download this Sims 3 world here. Just double-click the file and the Sims 3 launcher will open that will allow you to install it.

To build this world I used all Expansion packs except for Into The Future. Stuff pack wise I only used High End Loft Stuff and Town Life Stuff.

You’ll find that by default this world is not populated, that is because the Sims 3 Create A World tool (CAW) does not support adding households. So to get a fully populated Sims 1 world, we need to do a little workaround. There are 2 options:

You can download all of the households here and place them into their houses in Edit World mode in the Sims 3. Just place these .package files in your Sims 3/library folder.

Install the populated save file. Just unzip and place these in your sims 3/saves folder.

Sunscreen 😎

This mod adds a new Sunscreen object to the grocery store.

This is a scripted object that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.

Requirements

This mod requires The Sims 3: Seasons and The Sims 3: Island Paradise to function.

The Sims 3: Late Night or The Sims 3: Supernatural are recommended to use the full functionality of this mod.

Sunscreen Object

New Moodlet

Sunscreen

Sunscreen functions similar to the Mosquito Repellent from The Sims 3: Island Paradise.

Once applied to sims, it will protect them from getting sunburned or tanned outside if The Sims 3: Seasons is installed.

If The Sims 3: Late Night or The Sims 3: Supernatural is installed, Sunscreen will also protect vampire sims from the negative effects of sunlight.

It costs §10 at the grocery store and has 5 uses per container.

New Moodlets

Sun Protection: Given after a sim is sprayed with sunscreen, blocks the Sunburned and Suntanned moodlets for human sims and Heating Up and Too Much Sun moodlets for vampires, lasts 4 hours, +/-0 mood

Conflicts & Known Issues

This is a new object with a new script, so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

Coloring Books for Kids

In anticipation of some toddler mods I have coming out, I'm releasing this old coloring book I made a while ago.

I love the Children Can mod that opens up so much gameplay for kids in the game. However, the sketch book is SO BIG for little kids. So I made a coloring book for them to use.

There are 3 books (Kids/Toys or Hobbies/Skills) and they STACK! I don't know why that's so exciting to me but it is. Each one has a different theme so in addition to painting skill, they can gain gardening, cooking or (if you have my Voidcritters Mod) voidcritters skill.

You need crayons (Kids/Toys) in order to color.

The book is for kids but I added a little fun feature for toddlers where they can steal and eat crayons out of the crayon box which can make them sick and throw up. (that's fun, right?) Note: the crayons have to be within reach for the toddlers, so either on the floor or no higher than end table height.

Credits/Thanks: Coloring book mesh and crayon from @aroundthesims. Crayon box is from TS4. Coloring book pages are from Freepik and Crayola.

You need to have University EP and the Children Can mod installed since it uses those animations.

Name Randomizers by Eca

"This upload consists of two mods, both with the same intent, for the different points of the game. One of them makes it so that there are two randomize name buttons in CAS: one for first name, and one for last game, so it is now possible to randomize first name and last name separately. This feature also applies to pets. The other mod replaces seven interactions: Change Name (at city hall, for humans), Have Baby (having baby home, for humans), Go to Hospital (having baby at hospital, for humans), Name Pet (for unnamed puppies and kittens), Change Name (for already-named pets), Give Birth (for horses), and Give Birth (for alien pregnancies), so that all of them will have a popup with a randomize button to randomize first name or last name.

Fibonacci fence with symmetrical post matching railings

(and I'm probably not done being thankful for the half a thousand followers so enjoy the spoils hehehe)

Of course these fences need matching railings, and I haven't forgotten lol..

Both have three CAStable channels that match the fences, and as with EA railings they cost §0. Yet again, you won't need Showtime to make use of these.

Around the Sims 3 | Cat window bed

A kind of “emergency update”, when I realize all of sudden that I do need a specific object before being able to launch my game again! :D And yes, this time, it was a cat bed that can be put on a window. It can be put up and down, and you can put whatever you want under the bed BUT the cat will walk in the air to its bed, and yes, it looks silly, but I don’t know how to make it different.

It will be released on Around the Sims 3 the 10th of March. It’s available in early access for Patreons right now. 

(Still shadowbanned so I can”t reply to comments, but @echoweaver, no, I actually havent thought about the condo, I made some in the past and the animation was also a bit weird (the cat first has a wrong position then is OK), but maybe it’s less silly! I’ll give it a try!! Also, I *LOVE* your ideas for pet beds!!! Were they suggestions? I’m all for it, if they were! :D)
