I know this doesn’t get the news coverage it should, it also probably won’t show up on many peoples main news feed, but I’ll do what I can to bring attention to it. Armenia is being attacked, civilians are being killed and it’s all backed and largely funded by Turkey. Their leaders have never been shy about their opinions of Armenians and once again, they are acting on them hoping no one will notice or care. The fact they are an ally of the US and they are helping a country attack a small, unproblematic nation in the middle of a pandemic is abhorrent. Yet no one is speaking out against them, no one is calling for justice or demanding aid be sent. Once again, like so many times before, Armenians will stand up and stand together to defend their ancestral land and their country. Unfortunately, like so many times before, they will bleed and die defending their home, because they are a proud nation, with proud people who believe that what they fight for and defend is ultimately peace and a country that is rich in history, culture and natural beauty. Please spread the word, please pray/send good thoughts whatever you do to these people flocking to volunteer to go fight and defend their border.
