Oh yeah absolutely. There are so many people who’ve left or deleted their accounts and whom I miss terribly. I keep in touch with two that have deactivated on insta 🥰 So that’s nice apart from that there are a couple of friends who I kiss who aren’t that much on tumblr anymore 🥰

How about you? Do you keep in touch with tumblr friends who’ve left tumblr? And if so please hi to them from me 🥰🩷

And I understand that people have their lives outside of tumblr and sometimes there’s a lot going which prevents you from being more online on tumblr but I still miss them 🥹

Do you ever hear a song that instantly makes you think of one of your pairings? 

I cannot express the joy this ask brought me 😍😂 sjakjdkskdkdk

I’ve always loved incorporating songs into my fics and it’s something I’ve done since I first started writing because they give me so much inspiration. I’ve had some fics that were inspired by a song or even just a single line in one that has sparked an entire series (I’m looking at you, Hopeless Hearts).

I definitely have songs from some of my series that makes me think of them.

Always You — We’re Not Friends by Ingrid Andress. I used this song in the series because it screams Liam and Reyna and every time I hear it my mind goes right to them.

On the Run — The Great Escape by Boys Like Girls. I’ve always loved this song but now when I hear it I always think of Liam and Reyna. And the OtR playlist is probably my absolute favorite one I’ve put together.

Hopeless Hearts — Arcade by Duncan Laurence. I know it’s like … the song used in the sad part of the story, lol, but every time it comes on, I can’t help but think of Liam and Aria.

Bonus: Kiss Me More by Doja Cat— iykyk 😂

Bonus bonus: I Was Made For Loving You by Tori Kelly. This first two lines of this song sparked the whole idea: A dangerous plan, just this time. A stranger’s hand clutched in mine <- And that’s how HH was born 😂

The Pact — Daydreams by We Three. I’m immediately taken to the wine cellar in chapter 4 🫡

Moirai — When I See You, I See Home by Tyler Hilton. Every time I hear it, I think of Liam and Alina 🥹

Breaking Point - Broken by Jonah Kagen. This song inspired the whole idea for the story and I use lyrics from it for all of the chapter titles.

The Duchess - Where The Shadow Ends by Banners gives me chills every time I hear it and it takes me back to writing that story, lol.

The Wall and Flower — Pretty Girl by Maggie Linderman. Ok, so this isn’t even written yet, but of course I started a playlist, lol. This song is the first one on it and it makes me think of the OC in that story and her personality.

That’s all I can think of for now 😂 And I hope you don’t mind, anon, but this was a fun ask (and thank you for sending it! 💕) so I want to tag some others to play!

I realize that I must sound like a very broken record at this point... But unfortunately, my schedule has not allowed me to fully "come back" the way I'd hoped 😭. I am dying to catch up with everything on here, and read everything I've been in tagged in over the last few months... I commissioned @pilitella​ way back in October for this piece of Liam and Croía from chapter 16 of Vancross. At the time, I hadn’t written the scene, and only bits and pieces were in my head. I had no idea what exactly it was that I wanted as far as the commission, only that I wanted the beginning of this pivotal moment for these two to shine through. So, I explained where they would be, what would be happening leading up to this moment, and what would be happening afterward. I then gave her free rein to come up with what she could to show what I was unable to really express or convey at the time.

And in true @pilitella​ fashion, she absolutely nailed it and blew me away 🥲

Do you think a lap dance is cheating?

How would your MC react if their LI got a lap dance or vice versa?

Hi, anon!

I feel like this is definitely a subjective question that depends entirely on the couple and their personalities. I don’t see it as cheating, per se, and I don’t see any of my OCs/MCs or LIs seeing it as cheating, but they wouldn’t necessarily approve of it either, depending on the situation.

I’m all for a jealousy trope (jealous Liam is 🥴) and I love adding those bits of jealousy into their relationships, but to clarify, I don’t see any of my characters being jealous out of mistrust or having insecurities in their relationships. They just don’t like the idea of someone else being all over the person they’re with.

This isn’t to say that any of my characters would actually get a lap dance, but for the sake of answering, lol, in an instance with something like a bachelor or bachelorette party:

Charlotte and Liam – Charlotte would go feral because that’s just who she is, lol. She’s dramatic and chaotic and would act as such. FD Liam would be mildly jealous, but he wouldn’t show it.

Reyna and Liam – Reyna might give Liam a little playful side-eye, but she knows he wouldn’t let it get out of hand. Liam would stew a little more about it, probably make a few bordering on playful jokes, lol, but he wouldn’t be angry.

Croía and Liam – I don’t think Croía would know what to think. I don’t see her as angry or jealous, just confused about what she should think and how she should feel, lol. Liam on the other hand … he is so protective over her because of what he knows about her, and I don’t see any instance where that would go over particularly well (@sincerelyella “no touchy” 😂). He wouldn’t be angry with her, though, just the idea of it.

Liam and Aria – Out by themselves without the other, absolutely not. They’re both territorial over the other and neither would approve. They wouldn’t be furious, but they’d be irritated af and they’d let the other know. If they were out together (like the joint bachelor/bachelorette party in TP), I think they’d be ok with it because they’re there, but they’d still be giving the side-eye, lol.

Now, in the case of any of the above characters just going out one night and getting some random lap dance and/or trying to hide the fact that it happened, none of them would approve or be ok with that. I feel like that takes it somewhere entirely different and would turn it into a completely different situation. They wouldn’t be jealous or angry, but they’d be genuinely hurt.

Do I see any of these characters actually getting a lap dance? No. I don’t see any of my MCs or OCs even enjoying the idea of it, and I don’t see Liam as that kind of guy, either.

I think we can all agree that things have become divisive in this fandom recently. Unfortunately, all of that drama has led to people being excluded, whether intentional or not, from events, games, and other group activities.

We want MC Madness to be a safe space where we can check our egos at the door and celebrate each other, and the characters we've created.

There are some great MC centric events out there, and we definitely aren't looking to steal anyone's thunder. We just want all creators, no matter who they are, or which Choices story they prefer, to have a place to tell us about those fun little habits, hobbies and quirks that make their MC or OC unique.

Over the next few weeks, we'd like to hear from everyone. If you're a creator that would like to participate, let us know.
