Hey, don't mention it. I owe ya one for not shooting me that time I lost me ball on your side. Now buck up, get drunk and celebrate getting to violently murder everyone who pissed you off and always wanted to kill but haven't had the chance to yet.
… Well, yeah. But here’s the kicker; make sure they don’t remove the domination ever. That way, when ya get back to their side, they’re going to always have that on their battle records.
It will kill them on the inside, trust me. They’ll go see their reports and that will always be there. Always.

Pfft, it's not so bad getting autoballanced. I got the auto permanently. Ya just gotta go for the gobshites who pissed ya off the hardest and ride their arses like they're a two-dollar whore.
Trust me; it'll be fun.

"Miss O'Carroll...."
"Ah cripes. Cripes cripes cripes cripes cripes!" Everyone was looking at her now, she knew it. But she just couldn't find it. It wasn't there! She'd worked super extra special hard on her homework, and it wasn't there and Professor Doe was going to definitely give her detention. But it seemed that no matter how far she dug into her bag, she couldn't find it. Screaming demon, rocket launcher, pens, pencils, erasers, everything she needed for class was in there but her homework.
"Miss O'CARROLL!"
She cringed, looking up from where she'd just upended her schoolbag on the table. Hell, she'd even remembered to pack her maggots this time, too, but not her homework. "Yes, sir...?"
"Are you forgetting something?
"Sir, I swear I packed me homework! Me mu'um handed it ta me this morning! Boid must have nicked it from me, and-"
"I'm not talking about your homework. Private, where are your pants?!"
The Soldier looked down just in time to watch her trousers slither off on their own accord. The whole class turned to look at her and the weird tentacle-things her legs had turned into, Sinead opened her mouth and woke up. Sitting up straight as a whip, she swiftly tugged off the covers to check and make sure that she had all ten toes.

That free shot bolstered Sinead's spirit and health. She didn't understand how the damn thing did its job, but there was no way she was going to complain about that extra little surge of health.
Rather than giving him quarter, she fired off another rocket at the cloud of dust before the sudden hail of buckshot hit her. Grunting in pain, the Soldier backed off. She stepped to the side, reloading both rockets before trying to run after Randy.
Even as a Soldier, Sinead kept to what she had learned as a Scout. She moved swiftly through the back routes, not taking on anyone she didn’t feel confident that she could take out in one and one fights. She’d taken down a lost-looking RED Soldier that way already, and had just stopped for a health kit along the way when she heard the all too familiar sound of a sentry gun building itself up during a momentary lul during the fight.
Glancing around swiftly to make sure there was no one around, she turned from the Pyro she was about to flank to seek out the gun. Instead, she found an Engineer.
Low on health as she was already, Sinead didn’t give him the courtesy of attacking with her shotgun. Rather, she fired off a rocket right at his feet.

A new Soldier meant fresh meat. It was about time the Soldier welcomed the new member of his class properly. Lining up his rocket launcher carefully, he fired a careful grouping around her feet, sure to hit her with splash damage almost anywhere she stepped. "SPECIAL DELIVERY, MAGGOT!"
Quick as her reflexes were, Sinead was unable to get her arse out of the way of that sudden barrage of rockets. Instinctively, she did the only thing she could think to to keep herself from getting too badly mangled; she jumped to one side, tucking up her legs as one of his shots hit her. It sent her for quite the tumble and sent shrapnel tearing through her legs, but damn it if it wasn't better than getting a leg blown off in the blast.
And it gave her a chance to get back up and fight again. Ignoring the pain in her legs and the rocket launcher that had gotten thrown during the explosion, Sinead swiftly whipped out her shotgun and scrambled to her feet.
"Is that all ye got?!"

The preparation was done halfheartedly after Randal had brought back the dog inside his room. He’s solidly tied a scarf around the lower part of his face, and with goggles and helmets, pretty much all of it was now hidden. Not taller and more slender, the man was much quicker on his feet, actually being able to move at the same speed as the other engineers.
He tried to find a new spot, a bit farther from the dish to avoid having his machines destroyed right away this time, building right at the window of RED’s base, installing his sentry first this time in hope it would also be more efficient. He then quickly went to get some metal to build a dispenser, finding it hard to breathe with that scarf, even if light, while it was so hot.

No matter what anyone told her, Sinead was a Soldier. And as a Soldier, she was going to do her damn job. But there were some habits not even she could break. Even if she wasn't expected to run as fast as she had, she still wrapped up her hands and feet in thick ace bandages before tugging on her coat and boots.
After that, it was a quick check of her gear that was in order. Black box loaded, shotgun polished until it shone and that fancy smancy Asian sword she'd taken a shine to strapped onto her back and Sinead was off to the field once again. As a 'roamer', she didn't stick around with anyone and instead hurried off to try and pick off any REDs she could find.

I had a great time being a Scout, but four years is more than enough of that for me.
Cabbie, ya gotta talk to Jane already. I've had enough with that nancy talking smack about me behind me back. I know he's probably trying ta goad me into a fight or something, but I dinnae want ta settle this with me fists and get in trouble with the higher-ups. All he does is take the piss out of me, e'en when I'm minding me own business.
All right, lass. I’m on it. I’ve given him plenty of opportunity to handle this like a man, but now he’s threatening our ability to function as a team.

Tche, it’s not like I could take his job even if I wanted to. We’re short on Soldiers as it is. There’s just the three of us against the four’a their Engineers, and I hear the other feller’s shippin’ out. It’s like… I don’t know even. He keeps on talking like he’s Team Captain and about how I gotta be a leader or something like him, but all he does is try to get me to quit and go back to being a Scout.

Thanks, Cabbie, I appreciate it. It's just... he's getting on me last nerve, ya know? I don't even know what I did to get him this angry at me. He was going to have me running laps when I went to him for help. Laps! I do that every morning already. I had to figure everything out myself when I needed training. For fuck's sake, I still don't know half the shite I should and I was nice enough not to tell the bosses that he didn't help me when he should have because his job was on the line.

"Ya know what? No." Sinead shook her head at him and turned to leave when it was obvious that she wasn’t getting through to him.
"I don’t hit teammates. I’m twice the Soldier’t ye’ll ever be, and I’m not stooping to yer level. Now good night."
What'd I tell ye? Tongue. Stick it out. Now. I'm tearin' it out.
Let’s make it official and take it to the boxing ring.  If you win, I’ll shut up and accept you as a Soldier.  Hell, I’ll even give you a hat.
But if I win, you give up this stupid charade.  Either go back to being a Scout, or I put you through boot camp right proper.

Ya know what? No. This isn't a charade, this is me damn job. And I'm doing it.
Maybe instead a' being a self-centered prick, ya should actually practice wot'che preach and be all of them nice things ya preach! A leader doesn't put down his teammates, a leader doesn't try to attack and beat up his comrades!
And ya know what? I did give up a lot! I gave up me childhood to work on the farm! I gave up me schooling to take care of some snot-nosed brats just because me mum needed help! I gave up eating dinner some nights just ta save up and leave for a better life- a life that doesn't include you bitching me out behind me back like a coward!
I've been fighting as a Scout for four bloody years! I think I've seen me fair share of shite and don't need to take this bullcrap from ye just because ye think ye're better'n me!
So why don't ya kindly go stuff yer launcher straight up yer arse and back to the schoolyard, where small-brained, poorly endowed wanna-be bullies like ye belong and quit talking shite about me at every chance ye git!
What'd I tell ye? Tongue. Stick it out. Now. I'm tearin' it out.

"Tche, I think I can do the job at least as good as ye." She shrugged none the less, and shifted her grip on the ice drink he'd given her. "But... thanks again, alright? I... do appreciate."
"Wonder why…" he muttered. "Listen, you need something, you can come by. You know where my office is, right?"

"Hey, ya can't pick yer teammates." She shrugged, fidgeting awkwardly on the spot for a moment. "And thanks. Ya know where ye can find me if ya need someone popped a few feet underground or something."
"Why would I want something from you?" He turned his impassive gaze on her. "You don’t have anything I want."

"Well... thanks, I guess. I'm... sorry, okay?" She sighed, lightly dragging her fingers through her hair. Rather than pushing her cap off, she grabbed the bill between her thumb and finger. "I'm not used to people actually noticing me in a positive way... Mostly either get ignored or yelled at."
"Here is for MVP. Don't eat it all in one place." Gus handed Sinead a 5 gallon tub of blue raspberry Italian water ice. "I made it myself."
When Gus suddenly came to give her a gift, she looked at him crosswise. “Alright, what d’ye want?”
