Hey since you we’re talking about villains earlier

is it weird that I like it when villains have a upper hand throughout the whole movie or they get the upper hand near the end?

I really like it when a villain has the upper hand throughout the entire movie and wins i know we don’t see that many movies with that in it but I think that would be cool

and personally villains I wanna see win are villains that just wanna simply take over the world or wanna steal something

villains like Ones that kill all the time and kill innocent people and just do evil things i don’t want to win but villains like Plankton or something better than that to win

Even stories where villains who do absolutely horrible things when, if done well I don't mind. Because I know that most of the time, the villains actions aren't meant to be endorsed or replicated. They're called villains for a reason.

Like horror movie villains. Sometimes a horror movie just ends better when there's that feeling of dread. Some movies give you that false hope that things will turn out better for the and then they end making you feel so hopeless. And depending on the story, that can be great!

Again, writing is flexible so it highly depends on context, tone, genre, theme, the intention, Etc

One that comes to mind for me is a lot of the works for Junji Ito. A lot of those stories just would not be as scary if they had upbeat endings.

I'm all for protesting against oppressors. Fight back against ethnic cleansing.

I myself am not religious, but I'm not going to stop people from having faith. I have nothing against faith, religion, etc

I do however despise people who try to force their beliefs on others, especially in ways that are so violent and disgusting like this.

I had no idea this was going on for so long, I think the article that was sent to me mentioned this (specifically) started in the 1980s or something?

Does anybody know of a charity or organization I could spread around to help these people? I don't have much money, but even being able to just give a few dollars, I hope I can do something.
