Anon sounds like yet another leftist who can't actually talk with someone who fundamentally does not agree with them.
Just at them.
No, my argument is that justifying exploitation by invoking consent to explain a way a bad deal is an irrelevant argument when that consent is manufactured through coercion.
I'm not justifying exploitation, I'm saying it's not inherently exploitation altogether. There are instances of exploitation, I'm not denying that fact, but once again, I do not agree with your assertion that because people have biological requirements that they are unable to provide consent in any circumstance. As I mentioned in the last post, that is a law of nature and someday we may be able to overcome it, but today, we can not, therefore labor is necessary for providing food, whether that is your own, other's through voluntary action, or other's through forced action. Now because "it is nature", do we just roll over and accept it? No, which is why century over century, we have continued to push towards making food far less labor-intensive, more efficient in production/distribution, and more accessible.
Now to loop this back around to one of the previous anon messages:
To be born into a system that you had no parting creating and have no effectual way to modify in any way and then being told that you consented to being in that, it's just fucking inaccurate.
You are correct that as humans, we have limited agency over the laws of the natural universe, therefore we can provide literal consent that is free of coercion. However, when people generally speak of ethical and philosophical precepts, they are referring to the practical and reasonable application, not necessarily the literal.
Are members of society [literally] free of all forms of coercion, both natural and artificial, when making consensual decisions in their life? No, but they are [reasonably] free of these things to consent in most circumstances and decisions.

I can see why you didn't just say that. It would sound kinda silly.

I'll be damned if Republicans are taking women back to 1864 laws.
Democrats will beat Republicans in a landslide.

>So according to what I’ve been able to find, Daqqa wasn’t convicted of the murder himself, but of leading the group that abducted, tortured, and murdered this Israeli soldier, Taman.
It's one thing to do it yourself. It's actually worse if you lead a bunch of people to do it.
Tumblr media
Also, the first half of the article (archive) goes on and on about how Israel allegedly tortured this guy, but doesn't mention how the group allegedly tortured a soldier, just "abducted and killed" him.
And they put that part in the second half, after they've primed the reader to think of this murderer as a victim.
Followed by fluff about his ties to the Palestinian community, how he acted as a mentor to children.
Call me crazy, but I wouldn't want a torturer and murderer to be a mentor to my kids.
Tumblr media
Apparently, this isn't even the first time Amnesty defended anti-Israeli Jewish terrorists.
Tumblr media
Amnesty International having a normal one again.
This is why many Jews and Israeli's don't trust a lot of NGO's and "humanitarian organizations" they don't seem to consider us human.
Just look at the history of the Red Cross during WW2. Look at the poster that was shameless handed out at the NGO World Conference Against Racism in 2001. Look at the blatant double-standard against Israel by the UN. And let's not get into how UNRWA, a organization of the UN, is actively funding and committing terrorism.
(Any country and organization that funds UNRWA is essentially funding the Islamic Terrorist Regime and further inflaming the conflict in the ME. -> call your representatives to stop funding them, at least until there is a thorough clean-up.)
So if your source for something is Amnesty International or UN or any other NGO that reluctant condemned the murder of Israeli civilians (if at all), then you might want to find another source for your "unbiased" and "humanitarian" claims.
Sometimes, it's not what is being said that's important, it's what isn't being said. And the silent deceleration is "We care more about the lives of those that advocate and commit the torture, kidnapping, and murder of Jews; then Jews."
If you think antisemitism died in WW2 (which is STILL in living memory!) then you either ignorant, don't care, or actively malicious.
I will never forget how a woman in a "pro-palestine" rally responded to this question: "Did you know it was the largest massacre of Jews since the holocaust?"
"The largest massacre?" she said, concerned.
The interviewer: "Of Jews, yes."
"Oh," and she relaxed and visibly lost interest.
Like finding out that the victims were Jewish released her from the stressful "burden" of holding compassion for victims of a massacre.
You either care about human rights, about safety, life and liberty for all - or you don't. If you don't have those morals, don't pretend that you do. If you don't care, then don't be a useful idiot. Just because you don't care does not mean that your performative position doesn't lead to real world consequences.
(The main thing googled the day after Brexit was declared was "What is Brexit?" Instead of understanding what they advocated for, they just voted, as if the whole point of a democracy isn't that the public have a say in their own governance. If you don't do research and or don't know your own beliefs, then you are being a useful idiot to whoever has "better" propaganda.)
If you can't answer, "what are my foundational values?" then you have no place throwing weight in any conflict with violent repercussions.
Am Yisrael Chai.

>homophobic/transphobic/antisemitic/Islamophobic/classist/ableist/etc
Irony: This bit would seem to imply it would be okay to hate non-queer people for their identity.
And atheists.
And Christians.
And everyone who's not Jewish or Muslim.
Also, a lot of people's perception of 'harmful views" is based on who has those views.
So some people will get mad at a non-Jewish white person holding anti-semitic views, but if an Arabic Muslim has them, the critic suddenly goes blind, deaf, and dumb.
Some of you don't have firm principles that transcend ideology, and it shows.

Not necessarily. That could cause a lot of places to go out of business, or cut back on employee hours, or cut costs elsewhere, leading to worse service.

"We don't want to force people to adhere to strict gender roles regardless of their own wishes. Also men today are weak faggots for not ascribing to a hypermasculine gender role 24/7"
The difference between "force" and "strongly recommend" is absolutely lost on you people, huh?

I remember a post from 2022 or so. Lady had a cloth mask, a second mask on top, and a face shield.
She complained about people looking at her funny in the airport.

Oh, yeah, it's that comic I stopped reading because I thought the MC was an edgy Gary Stu.
Spoilers:
I noticed that he never really struggled for anything. His most notable struggle by the time I stopped reading was the time he fought some random wild animal, and won, but he lost his arm.
Fought it mostly offscreen.
And then shortly therafter, he conveniently finds a cool, indestructible, magic prosthetic arm. And it's just his size!
I think it would've been better if his arm was injured, and they realized it couldn't be saved, so it was reluctantly amputated. And if the prothetic has some kind of major drawback he has to adjust to, like throwing off his balance.
Or maybe he injures the arm doing something important, but doesn't want to amputate. So when he finds the prosthetic, he has to decide to sacrifice the arm, and accept that it's not serving his purpose.
Or, heck, make the animal that injures him be there as a result of his actions, like disrupted hunting patterns.
Or just say the new arms needs to "eat" the old arm. It is, of course, extremely painful. Maybe some other sacrifice would also be needed, for dramatic weight.
It's a shame re:monster is getting clowned on for the cum in its OP because it's actually pretty fun
