While I absolutely love all of the tsc characters that we stan, one of the characters that I would die for(no questions asked)in this series is Church. That devil cat has somehow managed to crawl and hiss its way into my heart. The Arrogance and Indifference and superiority complex when it comes to anyone other that Jem is adorable to me. Like that cat is probably the sassiest magical creature in tsc for generations now. The way it turns into a cinnamon roll the moment Jem enters the room is a transition that even the best of Instagram reel creators cannot manage. I love how annoyed everyone is by Church but at the same time they care. I swear, if I ever get a cat, I would make sure to get the most sassiest, haughtiest, disgruntled cat I could just so that I could be the one living creature that it tolerates. I mean, Jem and Church are as good as it gets when you think of two biotic components of society being separated by the cruelty of fate but finally finding their way back to each other. Also, I have this personal headcanon that the only other person that Church pampers other than Jem is Mina. Kit is probably trying to not die at the paws and claws of Church and then Mina enters and Church suddenly turns into this creature that radiates joy(he's probably happy that another being carries the DNA of his Jem). I think that after some time, Church and Kit would turn into partners in crime(not friends just two beings that like to wreak havoc and chaos on earth and occasionally partner up). Church would be walking around with the same grin that Lucifer, Cinderella's step mother's cat walks around with after causing trouble with Kit, and you can see church go and plonk down on the cushion nearest to Kit's chair when he is having yet another emotional breakdown about god knows what(at this point it could be Ty, or His parentage or his childhood in general) and Kit realizes that when it come to Church, his presence is the emotional support it provides. As you can all see, I have gone insane coming up with this. I am way too invested in the lives of people that will never exist in real life.

Here's an Idea

After this weeks sobh update, I don't know if people realize that they could very well use 'Sayest thou such' in regular conversation with perfectly normal human beings ,who do not start panicking at the mere mention of a cloaked figure who has a falcon mask, and get away with it. Like technically, we don't even know if what the Seelie Queen said was what Julian translated it as. I t would just be one big inside joke.

Series Recommendation

I personally think that everyone should watch Delhi Crime on Netflix at least once.

The summary as shown when you google it is "Based on a Delhi gang rape case, this crime drama follows the Delhi Police investigation into the finding of the men who perpetrated the crime." It stars actually talented actors(the reason why I specified that is bcuz bollywood tends to run on nepotism). When people think of Indian Cinema, I dont want them to think of indian soaps or stupid movies that never should have been made. Instead, I would like them to watch series such as this that just shatters your worldview into pieces and makes you question everything. It shows Delhi in a light that most people do not dare to show it as. I am a Malayali and will always prefer south indian movies over bollywood but once in a while you get this truly fantastic gem of a piece that you just cant get over. It dares to confront that truth of how unsafe women are in this world, especially India. Honestly, at this point, everyone is unsafe in this world regardless of gender, caste, creed, race,etc.. The nirbhaya rape case was a case that shook India in a way that all the earthqueakes, tsunamis and sandstorms put together could not. I am happy that that series was able to do such a good job and Shefali Shah is one talented woman who is getting every bit of the recognition she deserves and Rajesh Tailang excels in his role in a way I have never seen him do so. Please do watch!!

PJO casting

Now about the casting I am absolutely overjoyed that Walker Scobell got cast as Percy because I have seen him in The Adam Project and I cannot think of someone who could perfectly execute Percy's personality like that. Also it helps that he himself is a demigod. I know people are upset about the hair but you need to understand that in this age of book to movie/Tv shows adaptations, people tend to mess things up big time and that we are lucky enough that we got someone who we can trust in to do a good job. You guys Rick and Becky themselves are heavily involved in this so we should just trust in them to do justice to this book series and make the right calls about this. Please understand that at the end of the day they are children and that we do not get to ruin their childhood for them. By all means, shower them in love, send them appropriate fanart and other appropriate fan works and more(but again appropriate) but make sure it happens so in a healthy manner. Be considerate to them. I would also like to say that if there are other changes in the script or the casting, try to see if you can accept it and whether a different ethnicity of a character really is that unacceptable. For me, as long as the adaptation stays true to the emotional side of the books and the impact it has by being so inclusive of so many different representations that its not just a book series but an actual emotion, I am fine with. I love how Rick's books bind us all together as one huge family. Maybe some of us will be disappointed that a part that we really like in the books did not make it to the screen but please keep in mind that they probably can't keep everything and be able to execute everything on screen. If they do manage to do that, then we can all rejoice. But if they can't, just put yourself in their shoes. I mean imagine being in the production team, they must all be scared to death about how they could potentially disappoint all of us and how they could ruin everything and invoke our scorn and the hate they could get for that. Please remember that there is human being behind every tweet, post or even a fanart or anything and definitely a hundred behind a TV series. I do not think that their only purpose in life is to ruin this for us. They probably are as passionate about this as we are. So just treat them with all the kindness that they deserve.

Heartstopper Review

Just watched Heartstopper and oh my god I love them for what they have done like I know the dialogues were almost identical but it was perfect in its own way. They stayed true to what the story was and that's more than what we can say about so many other adaptations. Like the way all the characters were shown however trivial was so on point. I absolutely loved the fact that Olivia Colman was Nick's mother(I was not expecting that at all). All I can think about now is how much I need season 2. Also can we talk about how sweet Tao's mother was to Elle in that one bit like I need more of her in season 2.
