Lucien and Elain in close quarters. The scent of him overtaking her senses. She subconsciously sways toward him, leaning more and more into him and Lucien’s gaze just burns brighter and the little space between them grows hotter because ooooh, is it finally happening? Hands grazing, slowly turning into fingers interlocking.  Lucien trying to keep his shit together, to stand still and not move because while Elain’s scent and the bond are screaming at him that yes, Elain very much wants this she’s never wanted anything so bad oh god, she has to make the move, he wants her to prove it, this stubborn slip of a woman, he doesn’t want to spook her with how badly his desire for her burns, how badly he's trembling. His blood and body heating, the shaky breath he allows himself to release almost visible in the air. She’s been so good, so proper. Is it normal to feel it so strongly, is it normal to get this wet before even touching? She has her lower lip in a fierce bite when their noses finally graze and she just snaps.

As far as I am concerned the bonus put an end to Elriel , he stepped away from the kiss ... she gave back the necklace... he is shocked enough with Rhysands order that he gets out of there and doesnt look back...we haven't seen any sort of interaction from there between them at all ( TO be fair they had one conversation about Nestas suitor and her dance in the entire main book) but even otherwise nothing is mentioned about them from that point on.

So this whole big love triangle or Elain being involved in some great capacity in the Gwynriel equation isn't happening in my opinion ... at the Max there would be some internal monologue from Az .... Elain will be set up but in my opinion it will be an elucien set up of them being in close proximity... with the Autumn court plot Lucien might stay in the NC to help?

The point is SJM doesn't do "Love Triangles" even Chaol Nesryn and Yrene situation was done so tastefully.

IF MY PREDICTION IS RIGHT MOR WILL HAVE THE BIGGER CHUNK OF THE SUB PLOT IN THE GWYNRIEL BOOK ALONG WITH EMERIE ... WE GOT TO WAIT AND SEE BUT I THINK ITS A SAFE BET.

I just realised something

Rhysand SJMs favourite (No evidence needed its that obvious - My wonderful Rhys) and Nesta ( By SJMs admission her personal favourite) are the two characters that were used to show the Gwynriel crumbs and the way the story is moving ( Rhys calling Az out on his BS and the very reason he went to HOW that night) and ( Nesta calling Azriel Gwyns new Ribbon) .... its very telling isn't it ?

PS - I am in the minority that loves both Nesta and Rhys so the whole Rhys vs Nesta becomes so strange to me especially given they are both clearly the authors favourites

Imagine you're a citizen of the Spring Court, who went through all of this, suffered torment and imprisonment, only to be freed by a human girl. You find out that she's going to marry your High Lord, you're elated and happy that the curse breaker who freed you from your prison is there with you. After being trapped underground for fifty years, your High Lord only gives you three months to fix the economy of your town enough to pay a tax, but it's okay because Feyre Cursebreaker is there, and you should be grateful to be free, grateful to be able to pay this tax and support her.

Time goes by and then one day you hear that your High Lord attacked her with his magic after she tried defending his sentries who you know served him during those fifty years, or even were trapped underground with you. You hear that she had visible bruises for days, and that Tamlin had whipped some of those same soldiers until their backs were raw.

Wouldn't you leave too?

The destruction of the spring court is not some war crime Feyre committed, it is the liberation and crying out of a people who were enslaved for fifty years, whose cries for help and change were disregarded for the sake of upholding tradition.
