I love how if you ask most Dragunov mains how they’d spend a day with him, most of the answers are super wholesome. Just building gunpla and chilling. But with King… man, King mains are something else haha 😂

Sergei Dragunov - The White Angel of Death

Drew Sergei Dragunov from TEKKEN.

Dragunov’s been my one and only Tekken main ever since I started with TK6. The second I saw him I said, “Pack it up. There he is. My forever main. He’s perfect.” He’s also my favorite fighting game character period. I love his play style, I love his design, I love his unsettling mannerisms, and I also love the more light-hearted aspects of his character (he's a fellow hobby collector hell yeah look at him go with his little tanks and kitbashes)! Love him to absolute bits! ✨

I haven’t drawn him in such a long long time, so it feels super good to draw him again! He looks and plays the best he’s ever been in TK8 and it’s been a joy seeing him get so much love, and salt hahaha 😂

I was inspired by the song Dog’s Scratch by Hayato Matsuo from the Hellsing Ultimate OST. I’ve always thought that Hellsing Ultimate’s OST suits him super well!

There’s so much to love about this game! The story, the look of the game, the atmosphere, the gameplay, but most of all (in my opinion) THE MUSIC. I really can’t say enough times how incredible this soundtrack is. It truly is something special 💕

Shōjo Tsubaki: Midori - A Most Unfortunate Flower

Drew Midori from Suehiro Maruo (丸尾末広)’s Shoujo Tsubaki (少女椿).

Shōjo Tsubaki made a pretty big impact when I first saw the film and read the manga. It’s an incredibly disturbing and haunting piece of art, equal parts beautiful and repulsive. It was my introduction into Maruo’s work and it has since greatly influenced my art style haha.

The production of the animated film adaptation is also extremely fascinating, as it was near single-handedly created by just one person (with the assistance of a very small team). It’s an extremely impressive feat.

I felt inspired by the Opening Theme to the animated adaptation of Shōjo Tsubaki, composed by J.A. Seazer, reconstructed by gynsa:

The Powerpuff Girls - Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice

The original Powerpuff Girls series was one of my all time favorite shows as a kid! I was obsessed with it haha. I also had the movie on DVD and rewatched it so many times. My Dad also enjoyed the show and would watch it alongside me. His Mojo Jojo impression always made me laugh 🤣

It was so much fun finally drawing these girls after sooooooo many years. I think the last time I drew them was when I was like, ten or something. 😄

I felt inspired by the song Heartland by Richard Jacques from the Metropolis Street Racer OST while working on this piece. I was listening to a bunch of Drum & Bass / Jungle music tbh since D&B was a major part of the show’s soundtrack. Super sick 😎
